You made the right choice to switch dispensaries. The Clinic is overpriced and not at all accommodating to their customer's needs. I came back to the Clinic after a couple years (Clinic was my first dispensary). Even though I had always gotten a discount for being disabled, I noticed since I returned the last 4 times I bought something I wasn't given a discount. So I said I would bring in my disability paperwork, and asked if they could reimburse me for the the difference I paid on my most recent purchases. The difference was about $15. They refused to compensate me LOL. Terrible customer service and crazy prices. Honestly, anyone thinking that the Clinic is "the best" dispensary is out of their mind.

Call and make an appointment. You don't need the card to get into the building, just the dispensary area.

@Julie the sign up for the waiting list is on their website. You'll then get a text message when you can enter the line. The most I've waited is 25 minutes. I'll usually give a call and see how long the waiting list is. If it's a weight of 30. minutes or more then I'll sign up for the waiting room before I leave so that when I get there I'm not waiting in my car. At rise dispensaries that are very efficient with getting your order placed before you even get in the store

Go on a weekday, they will still more than likely disappoint you. I stood in line for almost 2 hrs for them to screw up my order and tell me I have to stand in line again to correct it. I'm a person that feels everyone deserves a 2nd chance, so I went again on a weekday morning when there was no line, placed my order for 0.5 g disposable pen, waited about 15 minutes, got to the counter, and what do you know, I get 300 mg which is not what I ordered yet again. Sure this is a new market, but things like inventory, and order fulfillment are far from a new system. Very disappointed and wont be going again and I live 20 minutes away.

Yes. When you go there, ask for them to add you to the email list. They will send you a menu every day with the open times as well as notifications if they are closed.

IL does not accept out of state cards. You also have to select one dispensary, which is the only dispensary that can service you. Switching is an option but there is a process. Florida's MMJ program is unfortunate. Please get as involved as possible. Vapor and edibles (plus the low THC content) just do not address chronic pain. Politicians need to get past the fear of tar and THC. I utilize multiple forms of delivery, this is necessary for chronic back pain. High CBD/low THC flower barely cuts it for me. That's around 9-10% THC, FL doesn't allow higher than 5% if I recall correctly. My pain requires higher THC content (20+%) and I'm still able to function just fine. Best of luck with that down there.

Hi Gail! Sorry about your surgery. My dr has me use for multiple reasons but, I myself have never been lucky with edibles.. unless just looking to go to sleep. Coming from a different state, Pineapple Express in the herb was fantastic for my pain. Here in IL I've been hit or miss but just landed with Sour Diesel that is pretty close. I don't think that they have a drive thru. Maybe for medical? Definitely not for recreational.

It's often extremely busy there. -The system might have accidentally attached your order to a profile that's not yours (common names easily can pull incorrect profiles if your phone number isn't attached to order and profile). This is commonly done on purpose and it's legally not allowed. -Orders not picked up on the day they are ordered are cancelled at close.

Rise Dispensary in Mundelein has free informational seminars regarding the steps on how to work on getting you medical card for medical marijuana. I think they are on Mondays but I'm sure it's on their site. They had a information table last time I was there.

Normally, Indica will give you more of a body high, relaxing, feeling tingly, etc. Sativa will give you more of a head high making you giggly, random goofiness, etc. Overall nowadays, almost all strains have been crossbred to the point where Indica and Sativa don't matter as much as the specific strain

Been there a few times. Wait is about an hour on average. Website is pretty up to date with products they a have in stock that day. In my experience they always have Vape Carts and edibles never have pre rolls or Wax and it's a crapshoot If they're gonna have Buds or not. Best bet is to just check the website before you decide to visit that day.

Because by law they need to have enough for the medical patients and over the past year the amount of people that's gotten a med card has doubled so they need to have a majority of the states stock set aside for the patients, and there just isn't enough growers on top of all that.

Online menu is pretty much standard for the area. Very limited supply and retailers are limiting even further to protect their supply and to protect medical patients. My experience is that EVEN LESS is available when you actually get there. Although I've never gone right when they opened.

Join the medical program and you have many more options than rec, but still flower is slim. There has been a shortage in Illinois for months now, and with people seeing better prices in the medical program, we've seen an uptick in patients with the same amount of supply, so pickings are slim. Things should get better June/July when growers can expand

The clinic has suggestions for finding a doctor, and can assist you with the paperwork also. Just be prepared, it's a LOOOONNNGGGG process to obtain a card.
