My husband has a medical marijuana card here in Florida. Our local dispensary does not sell edibles yet (may be several months before they get them). Is he able to purchase out of state for these products?

IL does not accept out of state cards. You also have to select one dispensary, which is the only dispensary that can service you. Switching is an option but there is a process. Florida's MMJ program is unfortunate. Please get as involved as possible. Vapor and edibles (plus the low THC content) just do not address chronic pain. Politicians need to get past the fear of tar and THC. I utilize multiple forms of delivery, this is necessary for chronic back pain. High CBD/low THC flower barely cuts it for me. That's around 9-10% THC, FL doesn't allow higher than 5% if I recall correctly. My pain requires higher THC content (20+%) and I'm still able to function just fine. Best of luck with that down there.
