I car camped since I was just here for the river. The water is nice to get into to swim or In my case float in the river. My only complaint was ppl being loud at night but i was in my car so it annoyed me ppl kept going back and forth to there car. Take your stuff to your site sheesh

A great place for family camping. Has vault toilets and showers but they were not accessible during our trip. The campgrounds were very clean and the bathrooms were maintained daily. Beware if you are a t-mobile customer... you will not have reception here. Cell reception was lost in Murphy. A short walk down to the river to dip your feet and some fishing. The sites are first come, first served and each site is allowed 2 cars. You can make payment with cash or check. There is also a camp host onsite which we did not need during our 4 day stay. Lots of other attractions within 20 minute drive including a small market and gas station about 5 minutes down the hill.

Beautiful, secluded and relaxed. Nice first come first serve small campground. Lots of walk down sites. Right next to the river. Nice fire pits too.

Nope. We brought a propane fire pit and it was great.
I have a friend currently camping there as we speak
Theres no specific check in. First come, first serve. Pick up a camping ticket upon arrival near the restrooms. $20 a night. Place receipt at your campground and put fees in the envelope and dropbox. Normally 10-11am is common checkout.
The grate on our fire ring was broken last week. Really glad we took our own grate to set on there.
It's open
It's Stanislaus national forest orders. Until they lift the restrictions it will remain closed. Was up there two weekends ago. Campground was locked. Day use area was fine.
You drive there pick out a spot, fill out form at entrance and drop a check or cash in with form...there are instructions
Hello Luis. The campsite is open year round, can close mainly due to bad weather for campers safety. There is no restrictions on pets and have plenty of space for them to have fun or walk around with.
They usually are full by Friday evening.
They do have showers, do advise to take it while still have day light. No electrical outlet at all and will need your own powerbank.
No
Camp site is open year round, 24/7. Only time it closes is due to dangerous conditions. It is usually $20 per night.
