Wanna shout out to Heather and Ron!!!! You guys are huge assets to this place. Thought about you guys this morning when I woke up.. still sober today 4 months 21 days! Life is beautiful. Freedom from fear is more important than freedom from want! <3 thank you Melissa M.

I would have gave 5 stars but the facilities are actually pretty dirty and the food isn't that good. But the reason I went there was to get help and my gosh did I get help my counselor Teresa Lynn was unbelievable she worked with me with my dual diagnosis. I have some real difficult mental health issues and she was unbelievable I can't say enough good things about her I'm actually speechless. Every single one of the techs made sure I was safe Bill R. opened my eyes to many things and the program itself I can't thank him enough. And the unit one supervisor Lou went above and beyond to make sure if I needed to get to an actual hospital things were already in place. But it didn't come to that because of all the help I was getting the brotherhood in which I received there and was a part of is second to none. It is ultimately up to you and how bad you want it I built life long relationships and can't wait for alumni day . If you want to get clean this is the place to go absolutely hands down the place to go.

If your loved one is a patient they would have to sign a release by law for them to tell you anything. They are in good hands at white deer.
I was a patient there April 2019 I wouldn't send my dog to this place I was in worse Condition Mentally and Physically when I FLIPPED out to Get Out. Worse Experience in my entire life I'm 57 years old. This is worse than boot camp. 🖕👎✍FAILED 💯🖕
28 days
Yes they accept Medicaid Fidelis ONLY
Yes you can.
Snack type food, personal hygiene stuff, cigs and chew, sweat suits socks and underwear
I'm not entirely sure but from what I remember the member visiting has to stay in one of the cottages on campus for the weekend. I think the website may have more information.
Those things are essentially what help us to be able to make it today. Funny how I feel about that because today I have been sober 11years. I had to learn how to let people help me. Just don't give up.
My experience as well.
When you call you have to be VERY clear about the amount of time you're planning to stay- HOWEVER, no matter what they WILL try to get you to stay as long as possible bc, as anyone who's been there knows, they want your money more than they want you to get (and stay) sober; the less help they give you there, the more times you keep coming back and they'll just keep taking your dough till you've either just had enough or you die- no real mental health, no real therapy, no REAL anything except for ROLLLL CALLLL lol.
The facility will contact the local SCA (County D&A/MH office) to assist with admission. There may be situations where the SCA is unable to cover funding, to which the facility will discuss payment options/payment plans with the potential patient. Regardless of the initial funding (Self-pay/SCA) once a patient is admitted, if they are eligible, staff will sit with them to have them apply for medical assistance funding for D&A services.
Again, yes you can bring an unopened bag of loose tobacco and tubes as well as a rolling machine. I just successfully completed there 2 weeks ago and brought all of that stuff with me And they let me keep it.

We could kinda see the Federal prison for the top of the hill by the men's units. And we passed 2 state prisons on the way. They were pretty close too.
They only allow one visit and that is usually on a Sunday when I was there in August. It has to be arranged and approved by the clients counselor.
More than likely make the call make your life better its so worth it
Yes it is. Many patients were detoxing off subs while I was there
Only if you are on their contact list
It depends on their recommendation. Your wishes are considered after their minimum recommendation is fulfilled. Usually 21 days After detox.
I hated having to go through the program too. I was a certified drug and alcohol counselor and they still made me go. Ridiculous.
Yes will accept u even give u a date and tell u picking u up. Some calls with real insurance they will take them and tell u didn't get correct information they lie and don't care about any of these patients scrupuless.
Yes
I went through this with my daughter ...she went through the program twice here and they are very unprofessional and never seem to.give a straight answer .She only seen her counselor maybe three times..place is a joke
Yes. All visitors to the facility (unless contracted with the facility or QSOA) need to have a valid written consent from the patient to come on grounds. Patients are encouraged to include any and all external/community supports in their recovery journey. This supports can be included through the family program, conference calls, counseling sessions or appointments through the facility.
The family program is on Sunday (education all day) and Mondays (education 1/2 day and visitation other 1/2) and can be scheduled through the facility staff. Alternative visitation can be arranged if needed, but must be approved by clinical team. The facility discourages items being dropped off at the facility, instead encourages items be mailed. If this is not an option, call the facility and speak to the direct care staff for the patient (primary counselor or clinical supervisor) to make arrangements/get permission to drop items off.
Yes- bar soap is discouraged due to issues around infection control. If you are concerned/have questions about a specific product call before you come in. Most products if they are new and alcohol free will be accepted (otherwise will be kept with confiscated items/luggage until discharge).
You can but they will take them from you. You are not allowed to have it in you. Id suggest leaving it home.
They are seperate. If you try to fraternize you can be kicked out.
You have to wait 5 to 6 days if you are in detox first, but if you truly want help, DO NOT GO THERE!!!
Best western
Not known i dont work there, i was a patient
Either, just not personal check. Make the money order out to White Deer Run Store. At the end of the treatment stay if the patient still has money on the account they can cash out. If sending cash be mindful of the amount as not all patients put their money on their store account, rather hold onto it and it could be stolen by others if the patient isnt careful.
No n patients hve to put in a request to get a phone call if approved they can get one ten min call per WK w counselor present
Well my boyfriend is up at that rehab and went in Tuesday and I still didn't hear anything yet
If you meet criteria for this level of care, and are stable(medical/psychiatric)/ appropriate for the facility they will work with you to get help. If they are unable to help you they will either refer you to an agency that will or give you information on where to get further assistance.
Depends. The Consolers will evaluate and suggest a length of stay. The standard is around 28 days. But could be more or less. Also it depends of how much your insurance will pay. I highly suggest looking into other rehabs though. WDR is kind of a mess.
