You must stay and I dislike how they try to isolate you however I only had to stay one week so as far as detox goes it got me through and I'm sober positives are A fewvstaff members care medical detox allow smoking they have a gym they take NY insurance and county funding negatives you cannot use the phone to contact anyone except one call a week w a counselor present visits only if you attend all sun and Monday than you can see your loved one for 2 hours that Monday which doesn't help if as a visitor you have a job food was poor couldn't get an ace bandage w.o a Dr order no inhaler no cough drops overall I wouldn't recommend except as an absolute last result Valley forge medical center much better choice VF IS all around cleaner staff caring families involved in treatment oh and if your own psych meds you won't get to see psych for 2wks regardless if you've been taking a current med they will not give it to you the one girl was manic denied her meds until she sees psych she was a mes
