I was treated poorly from the check-in and on. The woman that checked me in was extremely rude, interrupted me, and at one point even held up her finger in front of me as if to hush me like you would a child. From that point on it was worse. Even a woman on the cafeteria staff made a snarky comment to me when I asked a simple question. It was very uncalled for. Usually you can count on cafeteria staff being the cool ones. They also accused me of stealing (the items later turned up). I won't hold my breath for an apology. My counselor was very high strung and stressed me out. Although I will say he meant well. There was another staff member, Mary, that I'd have paired better with but somehow they didn't see that, nor did they care. Checked out early. Been clean ever since.

Probably one of the worst facilities I have ever been to a client was giving vitals to another client if that tells you anything. The clinical director just quit and they are way sort staffed. I was getting my medication one day and the I told the nurse I was on a lot of medications and she told me I was just trading one drug for another. This facility is awful the counselors are not good as well

OSU prescribed me naloxone and they took it from me and I didn't get it back when I left. The person from OSU also had to cuss out the staff because they wouldn't let me stay despite the arrangements OSU had made because I'm on maintenance suboxone. The nurse from OSU said she's never refer another patient here. They also claim only one person has access to the safe so if you want to leave that person "has the day off". Despite "one person" having access to the safe $20 was stolen because they only let you have $40 cash on you. They checked the books and confirmed it and I was reimbursed the money but that should make you think twice about how secure your belongings are. I saw a guy have a seizure and the nurses didn't want to call 911 for help although they eventually did when they realized how bad it was. You also can't vape but can smoke a cigarette every hour.

Best treatment center in the state hands and I’ve been to all of them!! The staff care about every single client that comes in the facility and do everything they can to help! Most of the staff are in recovery and understand we’re we’re coming from! I’m so glad I took a chance to change my life for the better!!

I can't say
Yes, we help with methamphetamine detox and residential care.
The facility uses suboxone to help detox people from opiates. If the client wants to stay on anti-craving medication they will provide oral naltrexone as an option while in residential, then arrange a MAT option upon discharge.
Yes, and transport you to the facility.
Parkside has undergone many positive changes over the past year; to include, facility upgrades, programming changes, and better food options. I've seen a lot of good reviews from people who went there recently.
