This place is very very terrible, todays the second time i took my daughter here. First time had no childrens, they got us really fast, the doctor came and asked a couple questions and left us saying she was going to order the covid and flu test, 45 minutes waiting and i got outside of the room to ask to the nurse about the test and the doctor forgot to order that. And now we are back again and theres a lot of people, thereβs people waiting almost 2 hours to get in contact with the doctor. I mean most of the people is attentive, but the big problem is they have no people to feed everyone.

If I had the option to put 0 stars I would have. The doctors and nurses were completely rude and incompetent. I wish I had names for the ones involved. We had 2 doctors who came in at different times giving us different updates/information that didn't match with what the other doctor said!!!! I was given the option to take my son home because it wasn't a life or death situation and I was told I could monitor him at home that night. They recommended if I did take him home to come back the NEXT day for a follow-up. So please explain how I was then surrounded by police and nurses who told me I couldn't take him home anymore. I'm not mad about the surgery, I'm moreso mad that for HOURS I had options then because of egos/attitudes they force me to put him in surgery? I will be taking further action, I am sure everything that was done was NOT done by the books. I do not recommend going to this location!!

You contact the Child Life coordinator.
You might have better luck donating to the Ronald McDonald house.
This hospital is experienced in helping children with all types of special needs and circumstances. I am positive they will be able to accommodate a child with autism.
Yes.

The parking is always free now in the Parking deck right next to the front entrance of the hospital (off of Kings). (Blythe Blvd)
I think so but not completely sure
Go to atriumhealth.org and scroll down to the end of the page and click on careers
I would call the hospital directly and speak with patient support.
Greetings! Great question, and if I were you, I'd contact the contact the hospital directly. It is an absolutely amazing facility! I wish you very well.
I would call customer services. There may be a way to do that but there are curtain guidelines the hospital has to adhere to.
Best to include the patient's floor and room number with the 1000 Blythe Blvd address. You can probably call the hospital switchboard to confirm their room number and floor. Be sure and put your return address just in case the patient changes rooms or is discharged before your letter arrives. This is what we reccomended while our son was in LCH for six weeks last year. Alternately, and to play it safe, you could just send mail to their home, or another address, like if the family is staying at Ronald McDonald House there in Charlotte.
You may be able to call the NICU & see if they can help.
