STAY AWAY.Go to Baylor Scott White Hospital. Seton almost KILLED ME, and now they want me to pay the bill for there mistake.

My 24 yo daughter came here for a large mass that was found in her abdomen. Dr. Medbery and her cardio thoracic team were professional, skilled, and focused on her complete care. The were equally focused on her recovery after the removal surgery. The nurses and ancillary hospital medical team members were all excellent. We couldn't have expected better.

I have never been so frustrated with a hospital's patient portal & customer service. No one is able to help when I call the numbers that are provided are the error messages, nor can they provide anyone else to help. Baylor Scott & White is light years ahead & would recommend them any day. Avoid Ascension Seton. It is the definition of MEGA corporation with no customer service or support.

My mother comes here to visit Dr.Dallas very often. exceptional service. Friendly faces. Doctor's and nurses who truly care. Lab techs who take there time. And who will not blow your arm with rushing.

Seton League House if you or someone you know is a patient at a hospital. They will verify patient status. Rooms are simple and clean. About $40.00 pr night for 2 guests and across the street from Seton Medical Center in Austin.
Yes
Hopefully your daughter's thyroid issues have been resolved by now, but if not, Seton is not her best option. First, she needs to see an endocrinologist who can do a proper diagnosis. If she lives in the north part of town, Dr Simone Scumpia has an office in the MoPac and Parmer Ln area, but if south, Dr Jean Chen is located on Davis Ln. They are both excellent physicians, and may be relied on to order necessary testing before diagnosing the problem and discussing a good treatment plan.
The gift shop at the hospital is closed permanently.
There should be a lot there is a lot of hotels near that ate
There a couple places to be honest. The south entrance, the ER entrance as well. The patient should communicate with their nurse or transport and yourself for best info
I am not sure
Yes
He can download them from his patient portal account.

Yes was there a few days ago
If you're having chest pain, if you're having difficulty breathing, if you are experiencing excessive bleeding that cannot be controlled, if you're actively in labor, if you're having anaphylaxis due to an allergic reaction.
I don't know call and ask
Which facility are you inquiring about? Need more information in order to give you a real answer.
Yes. Free if you have a surgical procedure there, otherwise it costs a fee (I don't know how much)
At least in my case there was never a schedule ... my family and friends went at all hours
I don't know but you could call and ask the hospital.
No, they don't have shuttle.
Yes. Ask the front desk. I do believe that it's posted on the walls throughout the area.
Yes they will you can file for help through a program they have to help pay the bill.
Yes
That is not up to the doctor since they wont be the ones having to supervise the child. I suggest calling the unit, but the child must be supervised by an adult while you are in the operating room & recovery unit.
You can write a letter to the unit or to the manager. You can also nominate a nurse through the Daisy Award foundation.
$9-10 for valet parking in the front. The parking garage charges according to the amount of time you spend there.
Honestly, your options may be limited even in a city the size of Austin. Research your options in the area. If you can travel to Houston look in to Texas Children's Hospital, Children's Shriners, or even Children's Memorial Hermann. Good luck!

Yes!! Expect to take a lot of money. Its not cheap. But great stuff !!
Wow. I'm nobody. But you can call the doctor's emergency number who treated her in the hospital. You can also call the emergency room nurse of the hospital that treated her. In the meantime watch for breathing problems or fever, and do not give her any more medication unless absolutely necessary for pain (try HALF if needed) until you're able to talk to somebody. Stay awake with her if you feel you can handle it. If you have any doubts whatsoever drive her to the emergency or call an ambulance. Good luck. I said a prayer.
Yes but they work bankers hours, its expensive, and okay at best. Cafe express is near by.
Pretty quick. If you need to go to the ER, go to Seton Healthcare's website to check wait times for all Seton Hospitals. You can even do a pre-check in to help eliminate your wait. It will provide you with an arrival time frame.
