Great concert at a great Amphitheater even if half of it was in the pouring rain! The staff was wonderful!

There's really no better outdoor venue in Charlotte. The Fillmore is great, but small and crowded. PNC is grand, but out of the way. CMCU has that big concert feel but well within reach! A stunning view of the city, combined with fast and helpful staff makes for a great concert experience. I have seen big bands and one man shows here, and both were experiences made better thanks to this venue.

Great venue. I have seen Leon Bridges and on another occasion Lake Street Dive. Love the venue!
Anthony Pompano
4 stars only because it was stupid expensive for drinks there. Otherwise the venue itself was outstanding. Not a bad spot in the house and the lawn all the way in back you can still see everything

When I was there in May 2019 there was no designated handicap parking that I recall. At least not that was obvious. However, we did get to the venue a few hours early and got a bite to eat and was able to get a really close spot to the venue that would likely be easy enough to get a wheelchair in and out of. There is also paid parking right outside the venue (right next to gate) that was I believe $20. However, we parked about 30 feet away from that spot for free. I would recommend getting to the venue earlier and snagging a close spot before they start charging for parking. Parking elsewhere (surface lot or parking garage) I believe is $5.
We were in the lawn seating area in May 2019 and was told that smoking was ok. I guess it depends on who you ask at the venue
It depends on where you park. I've parked several times in the lot behind the office buildings directly across from the entrance to The Fillmore and it's free.
Chairs or blankets are recommended
Yes clear water were allowed when we went to a show last week. And only clear bags or purses. But this all depends on the artist performing and their preferences.
Vip parking is a special lot located across from the entrance to the fillmore which is also where vip goes into the venue. It's a 2 minute walk to the fillmore entrance. Look for the box office
Never did VIP. This is a smaller venue. Not sure of value for what you get for the money.
They didn't allow it last Friday night, just towels and bkankets.
Yep. Beer and shots of whiskey and tequila at my concert.
Should be no problem
Near VBGB's.
Yes, you must show proof of vaccination.
ONLY NEED ID IF PLAN ON GETTING WRISTBAND TO DRINK ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE AT EVENT! If not planning to drink - not Id'd! You should be good to get in without one. All shows are all ages as far as I know and lots of parents bring their kids for concerts worthy enough to share a night out with them and kid enjoy it as much as parents do!
Yes...you have them checked as you go in!
This is a Google maps reviewers question and answer board. No specific idea, but that neighborhood has an 11pm noise curfew, so by then.
From our personal experience when we went it was on a Saturday and we went in at seven and stayed until the concert was over which was probably around 10:30-11 and there were still people hanging out and getting stuff to eat when we left.
h
I'm not sure. Sorry
Small. Can't pack a days picnic but can get two six packs.
The pit is decent sized, you can get pretty close to the stage and the balcony is close as well. I do have to tell you this was my first time at a concert so I don't know about other theaters or concert halls.
Yes. In line now
Normal hours are 12-4pm Mon-Fri and 10am-Showtime on the day of show.
Yes but check with your tickets so see if there are limitations
No you can't
No, it's just a big lawn where you can choose to sit wherever you want. I'm not sure why they would be more for different sections. I will say the middle area may be behind the sound guys, so there may be some limited viewing.
Yes. I believe you can park at. Vbgb if handicapped.
Pit is fairly large...attendants will be out to instruct where to queue. Don't know how early, probably depends on the event
Depending on what's all going on yes, but usually it's just $5 well as of recently it has just been $5
It's the lawn
.5 hour before the show, however, if you're early there's about 3 bars you can checkout before the show.
I do not know ...they have website that might answer your question
As long as it's like a stadium chair and sits low, it is allowed. They do not allow chairs that will block the view of others behind you.
Be ready to spend money nothing there is cheap
The entire lawn section is first come first serve. I think the numbers are only for their counting purposes.
Yes, what Jeff said above, plus each person can bring one sealed bottle of water, too!
Small, non-professional cameras are
No...parking is tight and the surrounding neighborhood sketchy
Low chairs only, not "camping" size. When I was there this last weekend, they were available to rent 1 for $10 or 2 for $15
thanks amanda! i tried that before asking the question, unfortunately ticketmaster does not provide an answer as well!
I brought a tote bag for a blanket and they took and searched it.
1 unopen bottle of water per person is allowed. Low lying lawn chairs only. No coolers.
What’s the closet hotel within walking distance to venue?
Yes show willbheppen rain or shine
Check their Facebook page, but probably inside near the pit area
No food or drinks but no one checked my bags last August for a show. Missed opportunity lol
You have to buy their food and drinks
Probably so. I'm not positive but if she's in a specific area for the package and that young too. I'm going to say more than likely.
