Positive: Everything. Clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed, great breakfast and it was a good location for me. I travel a lot and this was one of the best hotel experiences I've had. Very satisfied with Best Western Plus Downtown North. Negative: The only negative I can think of was my GPS could not locate the address listed on my confirmation (N Interstate 35). I called the hotel for directions and they said to try Pan Am Expressway. GPS took me right to it, after that.

This is a great place for a base camp if visiting San Antonio. Easy on and off I-10. Prices here are lower than staying downtown. Shopping and restaurants are very close. The staff here are great. Very large and comfy lobby with a bar off to one side. Breakfast definitely one of the better we have had at any hotel. Our room was quite spacious and had a separate sitting area. Pool was outside - but not exposed to anyone other than hotel guests.

Stayed there for my sons graduation from Fort Sam Houston. Very nice front desk staff. Breakfast buffet was good, but it was served by their staff. They were very nice but I would prefer getting it myself. The 24hr coffee pots were always good. Met some very nice people there and everything was super clean.

Very happy with our stay here. I wanted to stay close to downtown but didn’t want to pay high prices and struggle with parking, but also didn’t want to stay in a bad area. This hotel pretty much checked all my boxes! Service was fantastic. Hotel was quiet and very clean. I booked us the largest suite and it was perfect for my husband son and I. We could have his toys all over the place and we had a table and couch for sitting for lunch and breakfast and I loved that there was a separate room for the bed. Parking wasn’t an issue. Breakfast was great. Amazing affordable pricing. You do have to be careful to head in the right direction of town or you very easily will find yourself in a not so great neighborhood but the immediate area of the hotel felt safe which is very important to me and I took my time researching options before booking. Definitely recommend this place!
