I will never trust a hotel anymore !! I went to work for Comfort Inn @ 5622 Utex Blvd location . First day there I found out their employees up and quit which is why us temps were sent in . I worked from 9 to 4:30 pm . The whole time there were being rushed to go from room to room to clean it . Of course my real job is in the medical field so we practice cleanliness . When we weren't going fast enough because we were disinfecting the rooms , and properly pulling sheets for the wash , Christina told us if the spreads doesn't look dirty just make the beds up . Just to know this goes on in hotels is disgusting ! Cross contamination , viruses , and other infectious diseases could be harbouring those sheets and towels. And to know people pay good money to sleep on filthy sheets ! I refused to do so and started deep cleaning the rooms which took some time . Her attitude and yelling on the walky to just half clean and jump from room to was not professional and unacceptable. I would never recommend Comfort Inn to anyone !! This was so disgusting to see . The appearance of Christine was very sloppy and not professional which further explains why she think it's ok to half clean a room and not wash bedsheets .

The location is really nice and feels safe..in an isolated place. The parking is large and the hotel seems clean, but not enough for the rooms (but it's not a problem for me, I clean every surface and almost everything before I put all my stuff, including the microwave and the fridge. And I never use their bed sheets and covers..or even the pillows, these are always dirty and full of hair..sweats!!..I should add that it's not just in this particular hotel, but in every single hotel I booked in the US!). The customer service is the best thing there..they are polite and helpful and always available (Cristina, Esmeralda..and all the others). So I want to thank them for that, especially Esmeralda..a very nice person. I highly recommend this hotel, much better than Clarion Pointe and other hotels in this area for the same price range.

I unfortunately became a victim of fraud from this particular franchise. We opted to pay approx. $84 more for the whirlpool suite since it was available, for the sole purpose of using the whirlpool tub. When I reported to the front desk that it was inoperable when we tried to use it in the morning, they were already aware it didn't work. Their remedy was to offer me a 10% discount on the cost of the room which amounted to approx. $22, instead of the cost difference of the whirlpool suite and the standard king room. I stated this was theft and fraud. The manager reached out to Tapan Patel, who wouldn't offer the full refund deserved, instead choosing to continue his defrauding of a customer. I emailed him to no avail. I also emailed Choice Hotels who were apologetic and gracious and offered 4000 points as compensation, which I refused. This was not their problem, but instead the problem of a dishonest, irresponsible franchisee and general manager. Very disappointing! I recommend staying elsewhere for a more honest experience.

The price was a good deal. I've stayed at Comfort and Suites before, but this place was the worst. The mini fridge was not working, the bathroom was dirty, and the window curtains had mildew on them. The pool was way to cold to enjoy and no outdoor grill as stated on the website. A motel 8 would have been better than this place.

Yes I believe so I've done it before at other hotels. I would just call and double-check with them for sure though

It's a bad hotel. The management is not good. Will tell anybody I know never to stay or do any business with them.
