Had my bachelor party at the Christmas cabin in October. It was a good time except the owner was absolutely terrible. There was a blanket that accidentally hit the heater which burned a hole in it and we offered to go buy a new one and instead she charged us $50 for a blanket that was clearly very used and old. Apparently there were complaints that we were loud, yet no one came over and asked us to be quiet. We had a few guys stay later in the morning of checkout to clean up some more, and she charged us a late fee. Was not understanding at all and not the friendliest. Would not take your business here, there are way nicer cabins elsewhere. 1/10

We stayed in the Workshop cabin and it was great. It has two rooms on ground level that were perfect for one couple each. There is also the loft upstairs with two double/full beds and one single that were great for the kids. One of the larger beds upstairs is in a room with a door that can be closed if more privacy is needed. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. It is a very short distance from Santa's Village (almost walking distance).

Me and my whole family go to Josselyn's every year for my mother's birthday in early October. We have been doing so for years and it always a great experience! Usually, we enjoy spending time outside at the firepit in the evenings. This past year was super rainy but we still had tons of fun cozied up in the warm cabin playing games and chatting. Can't wait to go back next year!

We stayed at the Rocks cabin for the week of Christmas and it was magical! Although, it started with hiccups that were easily conquered. First, we live in NJ and my 6yr old wanted snow last year which NJ failed to deliver. So I booked NH for 2019 and the week prior to arrival talking to the owner, who's amazing, she informed me that they had no snow but should they get have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, which we have a front wheel drive Traverse, but there is snow shovel and bucket of sand on the porch and go in reverse. Upon arrival we had snow, YES, but the pin drop on Google maps was about 50ft from the driveway entrance, which at 5pm in NH carries the same amount of daylight as 3am, I proceeded to enter the clearing of trees that I thought was the driveway only to be stuck in snow 🤦♂️ BUT thankfully for the shovel and sand we were able to make it back on the road and to the correct entrance! The cabin was amazing, the kids had a great time on the playground, and we had a magical Christmas! Oh, and thanks, to a previous reviewer who gave 1*, my kids found random change throughout the place...Idiot. Should you read that negative review please note they were in the wrong since my kids found remnants. We'll be back again maybe another Christmas!

None of our cabins have wood stoves. Each has a direct vented oil heater and a propane or electric fireplace. Yes, like Scott stated below, the State of NH has strict rules on bringing out of state firewood to control the spread of invasive forest pests, so we comply with state ordinances so our rules are strict. All our cabins have outdoor fire pits. We sell high quality firewood and pass the cost on to our guests, each pile burns about 1 - 1 1/2 hours, which is pretty standard.
Yes, there is a fireplace which heats the whole cabin. I have stayed twice in two different cabins, both had the same feature. Best best is to call and talk to the company about this.
