Yes, there is a fireplace which heats the whole cabin. I have stayed twice in two different cabins, both had the same feature. Best best is to call and talk to the company about this.
Update to Christmas cabin...there is a new monitor heater that works beautifully. The gas fireplace does not have to be used if you have young children.
Oh ok so there its no heater units in the sleeping rooms
They do not have heat sources in each room, but the monitor heater or fireplace will heat the whole cabin (once it gets going). Depending on the version of the directions you are told to leave the heat at 50 or 60 when you leave. 50 is TOO LOW for the winter months and it will take a long time to get the whole cabin warm. Once it heats up the cabin will be warm ... just open ALL doors and pass-throughs and crank the heat up at arrival. Also, and this is big, if you are going to stay at the Christmas Cabin beware that the ONLY heat source is the fireplace and it gets extremely hot. I am very happy that we planned ahead and brought a free standing kid corral so we could keep our 18 month old, who loves to walk and run, far away. It also served as a good visual reminder for our 5 year old.
