The friendliest staff I have ever encountered! Our first room had a strong cigarette smell, but we were able to change rooms with no issues whatsoever. Location is good for downtown, lots within walking distance. Outside of the control of the hotel, we encountered many homeless individuals asking for money/food

Everything about our stay at this Holiday Inn was amazing, but by far the most amazing thing was the staff at the hotel. The most friendly, kind, positive, happy, and helpful staff I've come across in a hotel so far. Elisia at the front desk brightened my day every time I walked in the building, or needed new towels, or had questions. She was so positive and courteous, always smiling and doing everything she can to give everyone around her a positive experience. Keith was always near the door, going out of his way to open the doors and help us as we carried supplies for the convention in and out. The list goes on and on. Just wonderful people. Very comfortable hotel, great amenities, cool pool, modern rooms, great pillows...couldn't have been happier with my stay here. Will stay here again next time I'm in St. Louis, no question.

I was attending a conference at the America Center convention center across the street and found the Holiday Inn to be conveniently located (about a block's walk from the main entrance) and well appointed. The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff terrific. I didn't use the pool or dining options, but the "convenience" store for snack/drinks in the lobby is always nice to have on sight - as is guest laundry (huge plus). About a 20 minute walk to the Arch, and several dining options within a few blocks. Good water pressure and fluffy towels. Ample lighting. Comfy bed. The elevators are a bit slow, but not terrible. My only complaint would be the outlets... I found the most accessible ones (bedside and desk) to be oddly loose or not working, making it difficult to plug in and charge. Luckily, I travel with a power strip and was able to find a good outlet (a power strip under the bed) to plug into so that I could charge from my own power strip. All in all, a good, comfortable stay and one I would choose again.

The nice lady at the check-in counter tracked me down to return my sunglasses that I left when I checked in, and that's about where the good parts stopped. When I made it to my room, it was hot, presumably due to a broken a/c unit, and it stayed hot my entire stay. My room didn't have a luggage stand, which was surprising, as is a standard these days. The bathroom ceiling is was so low that I hit it with the hair dryer several times, and the exhaust fan didn't seem to be doing anything other than making noise. The "24 hour" restaurant/bar just off the lobby was closed at 12:30, which was annoying, because there was nowhere to get food or drink without getting back in the car. I decided to get a 20oz drink from the vending machine on the way back to the hot room, but the machine's card swiper wasn't connected to the network and wouldn't work, and it wouldn't accept a $5 bill. So back to the lobby I went to get change. Fortunately, the hotel had a nice selection of chips, drinks, etc. in the lobby (which was in no way an acceptable substitute for the restaurant being closed). Finally, the next day, I checked my credit card balance and found a $15 mystery charge, which I didn't bother to call about. My advice is to just stay anywhere else. Spend more and get a nicer hotel room, or spend less and get one just as nice.

About 10 minutes away
Yes, if you have handi cap plate parking right in front or lots to park in. Try Suger Fire BBQ walking distance from here.
Sorry on idea ad I was in for half a day only
You need to contact directly. There is an app called Hotel tonight and is great for cheap hotel and room in St. Louis. There are much better hotels than this one, for much less money.

I seen one gentleman with a dog there. So, I'd assume that yes they are allowed.
