If they had a minus star i would give it. They don't have a driving range and you can't drive the carts on the fairways at any time. It's the worst course we have ever played. The rough is not just thick it is like playing in a cow pasture. The rangers were so rude and tried to push us on every hole. If you ball is on the other side of the fairway from the cart path you have to take two or more clubs and walk to the other side. I would not play this course for $10. The view is great but the condos are a little out dated and not very clean. It's hard to get to and way over priced. Don't go

Mt. Mitchell Golf Club is a unique experience. The staff is 5 star for sure. The greens and bunkers were in great shape. The best thing about it though is the absolute beauty of nature! Surrounded by mountains and streams, the views are ever changing. Their stay and play deals are they way to go!
