We just checked out today and our stay was amazing! The spots are roomy and have shrubs lining in between each camper to add additional privacy. We have a 44 foot toy hauler and still had plenty of room to set up camp. We camped in row 31. It was quiet, and minimal traffic. The beach area was beautiful and very clean. The general was awesome and had a selection of just about everything you can think of. Our son absolutely LOVED the playground! That is one of the main things we always check out on the websites and it did not disappoint. The entire campground was clean, well maintained and a great location from nearby attractions. We are ready to book again for the 2023 season. Thank you for a great camping trip.

This place is Gorgeous and it's clean. Staff is friendly. I dislike that you can't pick your spot. They say they'll best accommodate your wishes. I felt like I got the opposite of what I asked for. Trees (for hammock) and close to restrooms. Was told I couldn't change spots because others were taken. Didn't see anyone show up for a few days after me. If we can't pick our spots I don't understand why I couldn't switch someone showing up days later anyway. Quiet hours are not respected by campers. So many people get loud and play music. Not possible to call on the noise with how much activity was going on. At 7am a teen had a shouting match with their parents, screaming "F" bombs. Luckily they left that day.. Pool, mini golf, playground and the more Rocky Beach with bridge view were very nice. People are allowed to leave their belongings out on the beach and claim space for days on end.. The smoother sandy beach people can camp closer to was unfortunately, heavily littered. Overall I liked the actual campground. It's just too busy, cramped and people were very inconsiderate at a level unlike any other campground we've ever been to. Doesn't feel like peaceful camping. Shuttle was also very convenient. Won't be back, we'll check out another location.

This was our first time staying here and it was a blast! Being right on the lake is absolutely beautiful and our children had a lot of fun exploring both the rocky beach and the sandy beach. Free mini golf, a pool, and multiple playgrounds we're also a bonus! This campground was huge and that made it a little hard to navigate. If you have kids that wander off it can be a little intimidating and confusing to find their way around. All in all we had a wonderful time and look forward to returning in the future!

We have been camping at Mill Creek for 20 plus years and appreciate the variety of camping it offers. We have camped from rustic, electric & water, full hook up and every type of cabin, with our favorite cabin being a bridge view. This last camping trip we had a full hook up on a corner site #1016. If you like people watching, constant traffic this site is for you. And unfortunately the hedges blocks the beige view from the site. It was not our favorite. Our all time favorite sites are almost any in the area of site 179, sandy beach area. It is not full hook up, but the location makes it worth it. This campground is very well kept and maintained. Sadly though we had to listen to a park worker try and start a hedger for at least 10 mins to clean up grass/weeds right by our site when we were trying to enjoy a quiet morning. The bathrooms are very clean. The expansion on the sandy beach areas are super nice! We enjoy the pool, putt putt golf and that it is a short bike ride to Mackinaw City and to the Mighty Mac. ❤️

The campground is pet-friendly with pet exercise areas and doggie waste stations. However, pets are not allowed in cabins. Thank you for considering us!
Yeah

If you stay at our Mackinac Lakefront Cabin Rentals wood and a fire is provided. If you stay at the campground there is a firepit and/or you can use a fire container and wood is available at the park store or office. We don't want outside wood in the park due to the many insects, pests and molds that are killing our trees. We have lost hundreds of ash trees due to the Emerald ash borer and now there are threats to pine and maples trees.
I believe there are specific lots for multiple units, especially if they all rely on a power source. Their website offers a map with these details.
We will be closed for the Season on October 25. Leading up to that date we close facilities a little at a time to keep ahead of mother nature and hard frosts.
After closing on October 8th, we will start taking Reservations again after November 1st, for the 2022 season. I hope that helps!
Yeah!! There are cable station but not on every camp space but some of them have it.
Don't know you would have to contact them
How much are the cabins per night
No. No tents are allowed on Cabin sites. The occupancy of each cabin is what we are licensed for - extra people on a cabin site would violate that. Not to mention, there are buried electric, plumbing and drain fields making it dangerous to drive tent stakes. Tents are only allowed on tent sites.
We do renew and rotate out merchandise but yes give our store a call 231- 436-5168
Hard to give a solid temperature as the water temperature can vary 10 to 12 degrees depending on the weather, wind direction, etc. We have a large bay that is generally about 8 degrees warmer than the lake along our more wild northern shore. It will always be colder than a heated pool but is not bad starting in late July through August.
They have over 600 camp sites from full hook ups to a simple rustic. They also have cabins you may rent also.
Let me put it this way. if your dog can be trusted by itself. then your fine. Now if your dog is anything like mine...big baby. You might have to take it with u. They let pets on the island too.
We appreciate that you understand that just leaving your dog alone would be stressful (for the pup and your neighbors). We do have an onsite dogsitter, by appointment and there is a local kennel. You'd need an appointment for either. The camp dogsitter takes the dog on multiple walks. Your pup will enjoy the day.. Give us a call at the office to get those phone numbers ( camp dog sitter, kennel).
Yes, you can use the lane by the highway but there is a bike trail where the railroad used to be which is much nicer and away from traffic. It is on the camper maps handed out.
There r spots that u can see the bridge Tent sites IDK If not it's a very short walk to bridge view.
Yes!! The water levels have changed extremely in the past few years and now are boat launch is functional. For quite a few years the lake levels were low and it wasn’t usable.
I booked a cabin 2 days before memorial weekend. It's a great campground. Very friendly staff.
Define multiple. I think they keep it at 2 per site but they also have extra parking space within walking distance.
I have brought my Rottweiler and seen pitbulls. Make sure all shots and tags are up to date and as long as ur puppy is under control (on a leash) that's all they ask.
That is right, we do not have one. Being on a great lake we have kind of extreme waste water restrictions. Yes, there is a nice little one in Mackinaw City (about 3 miles from the camp).
It depends on Mother Nature. If we have a cold fall this might vary but we try to stay open until the third week in October. We slowly close sites, buildings and areas leading up to that date so if a park store or pool is important to you - those will be closed that late.
I'm sorry I don't know the answer. We stayed in our teardrop camper. I would suggest calling the office.
Barbara is right. The exception is cabin check in is 3 p.m.
We no longer restrict outside firewood. Enough people cheated and brought in wood that it is a lost cause. We are losing all our ash trees. Our new strategy is to plant hundreds of trees each spring to replace the ones dying. If you buy our wood - we occasionally get a bad batch, if you ever get wood here and can't start your fire, give us a call and the staff will come by and help you start it. Also if a bundle isn't to your liking we are happy to exchange. Regarding Randy Francis comment about site size. We have about 30 types of sites. Generally, smaller sites are less expensive, unless they are a prime Bridgeview. If you need a large site, pick a site type with "Large" in the name of the unit. Also this year we have added site sizes to the online reservation system to help you get the size site you need.
Joel, it is very considerate of you to ask! We would really rather you did not. We used to outright ban outside wood, but everyone just snuck it in and now we are losing all our ash trees anyway and have issues with beetles and molds like everywhere. It was just a losing battle trying to educate people not to move firewood. So we are having to plant a few thousand trees each year just to keep up with all the trees dying.
They have dozens of cabins with all different floor plans that sleep up to 6. They're pretty large though so there is plenty of additional space. Rates vary depending on size, location of cabin, and date of rental.
How much for a small for 2ppl.from friday to sunday.
It's on the website
Sorry do not know. They can be contacted on line. They have cabins all over. Very nice people to work with. Some cabins are on the lakefront and some are two story and large.
Signs say no. Plus I wouldn't risk it for a fine. It's $5 for a bundle. Or just ask the office.
