West Hill County Park consists of three (two, really) sections: WHCP-West and WHCP-East separated by Sweet Hollow road. Both West and East sections have their parking lots. West parking is located off Highhold Dr. (40.813286, -73.437325), and this is a parking lot and official entrance as believed by google map. The East Parking is located at (40.801256, -73.421759) off Sweet Hollow road. Google map shows this as a turn to gravel road (Ridge dr). There is a large parking lot there, restrooms, several picnic areas, and a dog park. There are trails connecting East and west sections. To the South of West Hill County Park, separated by the Northern Parkway, there is West Hills Nature preserve. The only access to this area I am aware of is a small roadside parking (3-4 cars) at 40.795993, -73.421430 near the West Hill Preserve trailhead. We hiked both section. This East section is where Jaynes hill is – the highest point on Long Island. There are multiple trail some for people, some shared with horses, so watch where you are stepping :) Trails are well marked and maintained. We did not follow a specific trail but walked along a long loop along the edges of the park . The entire trip was just under 4 miles, given our wandering here and there. You can shorten it as there are many parallel trails that allow to cut this loop. If you add the Western section you can easily create a 7-9 mile "loop". The Western Section was disappointing. large section of WHCP-West is occupied by the youth camping ground that is apparently used by the scouts. It is fairly beaten down, with a bunch of wooden shelters and countless signs of intense human activity. This part is neither beautiful nor interesting. The return trail goes along Northern State parkway, which is noisy and messy. The only interesting part of the trail is the northern section from the end of the Mt.Misery Road to an abandoned parking lot at Gwynnne Road with crossing to the WHCP-East

Nope!
To be fair, most wooded parks and preserves have a tick population. It is smarter to just assume that any wooded area you go to will have ticks and plan accordingly.
I can't answer this question because I have no idea about green key maybe someone else can help you with a more specific answer..
Hi Gretchen, It is a fully fenced in dog park.
Park does not discriminate against alpacas, please let me know when you are walking the alpaca. I want to pet it.
No. It is open to the general public. It has a great dog park. It is located in Suffolk County and considered a county park but anyone can go. There are hiking trails and picnic areas
Dawn to dusk
You cant camp here unless you like camping in a dog park or on a horse trail
