The Montrose Health care team is a group of highly dedicated professionals. They provide the highest quality of care. The Residents there are treated as family. I was able to sleep at night knowing my family member was receiving the best care possible. One cannot say enough about their health care team. Everyone in every department treats the Residents like family. God bless each and everyone of them.

I suppose it depends on your needs and the needs of your family member. I was specifically looking for rehab for my father, as I am able to care for him at home. He had had pneumonia and a GI bleed to recover from. I was not looking for a longterm...not ever coming home 'storage' facility...not sure anyone there really believed that. Two fabulous aides Laverne and Isabel..would not have left him there at all if it weren't for them. I went almost every day for almost 3 months...it is important that you do...for me it was too much nursing home and not enough rehab...so again..depends on needs. Food as with most is hideous.

Our father became a resident there on 11/21/19. I can honestly say that the Montrose VA Veteran's Home is a God send, they immediately embraced my father and made him feel comfortable. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and it makes something difficult to work through a bit easier. Thank you all at Montrose VA Nursing Home. Our family thanks you all so very much! Best regards, Pamela Morgan and family!

My dad has been there for 2 weeks he suffers from Alzheimer's and the care he gets is amazing they tend to his every need. ' the only thing I would suggest is to be careful what you bring there sometimes things disappear. Other than that the girls there are amazing they answer everything we ask and from the looks of my dad he's comfortable there with other veterans he's 92 and a World War II veteran and I'm thankful for the care he gets.
