We love staying here with our friends, it's something we look forward to multiple times as year, you really just can't beat this location. However, I would be doing a disservice if I gave this four stars. Last year I would have for sure granted five stars but a lot has changed. We all wanted to go to the pool, only to be told that you can only have one guest..? How are families supposed to swim together? We were all denied entry which was real let down and affected our vacation greatly. Secondly with the Roman spa, used to be free to use and now they have posted rates on the window.. just seems like a cash crab and was also quite the let down. We still love this place, it's just disheartening that those two things have changed.

I've lived here over 10 years and the amenities are wonderful. I enjoy driving by the golf course for it's view. The tennis, basketball courts, Olympic sized pool, Roman tub, card room, mini bowling lanes, laundry, and rest rooms have all been upgraded. You feel like you're at a resort. There's security around the amenities that give an added feeling of safety. The gym has a lot of equipment.( Which can use some TLC) but it doesn't take away from being one of the most beautiful Mobil home parks in the area. The park is especially festive during the holidays when our northern residents return. The lakes are beautiful. You can view fireworks across the western skies and now view the beauty of the Hard Rock Guitar hotel as the lights give off a show of their own without obstruction while you visit what I call "Lighthouse Lake" for obvious reasons. Carmen in the front office is a pleasure and is always willing to help. Stop by and check it out for yourself, it's a pleasure to live here and shopping is very convenient.

Cute breakfast and lunch spot. My friend and I had burger and turkey club sandwiche and both were delicious. Friendly and fast service. Lovely view of the lake in the back of the restaurant. We will definitely be back

Just moving in here. So far, everything seems great! Fabulous community center (best I've ever seen) and fairly well maintained homes, especially in the lake areas. I'll re-comment when I've lived there for a while. One doesn't really know a place until they live there.

The Estates of Fort Lauderdale is unique in that you buy the lot and it is deeded to you, if you are able to meet the qualifications of the association. I recommend calling the office or contacting a local realtor who is familiar with the community to see what is available and then make application with the homeowners association. As for a Florida licensed Realtors familiar with this unique community, I have had great success with Louise Charron-Dubin. She is with Remax Hope this helps!

Association $80 per month. Taxes will be based on whether or not you will be applying for homestead exemption, purchase price of property, etc. Call the local taxing authority to determine which exemptions you can claim.

Yes. When you move in here you own the land also. They are now also selling site built homes, instead of just mobile homes you can now have a concrete block home built.
The laundry is next to where the post boxes are. As far as I know there is no change machine.
Yes. You have to use coins, but there is one.
Not an RV Park! If you own a lot with a home on it you can however park your RV or Boat on your property as long as you have enough room. A great place to own!
