Paige is the best in what she does. She planned an immaculate trip for us with impressive attention to details of even the most subtle things in the entire trip. We planned ahead and she kept herself consistently engaged providing numerous options for activities and excursions and ample time to comfortably pick and chose. She covered every family member’s preference in picking restaurants and places which were perfect choice. She remained constantly in touch and was just a whatsapp call away despite the time difference between home and where we were throughout the trip. It was one of the best experience. Paige is awesome. She planned a most amazing customized 2 week trip for my husband and myself to Alaska. She was collaborative, creative, detail oriented and had the most fantastic suggestions. She was spot on with everything she suggested and even when we needed a last minute change of flights while in Alaska, she made it happen and got us a last minute hotel for a night. All the rooms she reserved for us were top notch and we couldn’t be more pleased with our vacation. Best of all, she was wonderful to work with and I can’t wait to plan another trip with her. I am ALWAYS looking to get you the best rates anywhere that I can. Whether it be with tours or hotels, I search endlessly for the best company and most cost effective option. For hotels, I usually get cheaper rates than what you see online but I cannot guarantee anything as prices are always subject to change. You will NEVER pay more than what you see online. Sometimes with international flights I can get consolidated airfare which is cheaper than the online rate.
No, you still need the guide book. The written itinerary is an outline of activities (scheduled and not scheduled), addresses, open/close times, etc. However, separate from the itinerary, I also include neighborhood summaries for most cities, a city overview page, tips/things to know sheet, how to pack, etc. to make sure you are well prepared for the trip! I can assure you, you will not be bored on the plane ;)
I run my business on a set of policies I've set for myself to ensure the utmost service. The main policy I run my business on is with TRANSPARENCY. I believe in being as transparent as possible, especially with pricing. Some travel agents will mark up their flights/hotels/etc. with hidden service fees. I like to be transparent, and as my focus is typically more on the personalized itinerary planning side of things, I charge flat rates per trip and work to get you the best bang for your buck on everything. Many times other travel agents work with a set of companies they have relationships with and just send you to those companies, even if the reviews aren’t great. Personally, I take every client individually and look tirelessly for the best tour or hoteI I see fit for them, with my focus not on the commission side since I've already gotten my fee. Just a note: I am totally not knocking my fellow agents, everyone does their job differently and I will not knock the hustle!!
