Life care centers of america, the business that runs this location, paid $92,000 to a patients family in response to a lawsuit. The patient had a known reaction to a certain medication that resulted in toxicity, despite this, the physician prescribed the medication and administered it. The patient had a severe reaction to the drug, and suffered severe weight loss. Even after the physician was informed of this reaction, the medication was not halted. The resident was hospitalized due to being given this med. After they were discharged and brought back to the facility to recover, the physician incharge of caring for this patient administered the same medication for 3 days. The resident was later taken back to the hospital, where he died. Dont let this be a family member, protect yourself.

I know my ins and outs about nursing homes cuz I've worked in one and also I was a resident for rehabilitation. I have nothing but good things to say say about this facility. I was impressed the nursing staff who would call me to inform me of any changes in my mom's meds or if they had any concerns. Mandy the social worker was absolutely wonderful with me when I was transferring my family to another home. They were moved within a week. She definitely has her stuff together. The facility is beautiful inside and kept well cleaned. I would recommend any family to live at this facility it's a beautiful inside and I knew my family was in good care.

My mother is currently a patient , and we got a review today of her progress. Everyone was very helpful and it is very comforting to have gotten feedback . She was at another facility before and they were horrible at communication, so this was a welcome change and good to know there are facilities such as your's that stay in touch and give us your time. I had a great experience at Life Care of Medina the staff was excellent everybody so nice the food was delicious and they provide everything that you need and so well that I'm in need of their care again and I'm going back to stay there because of my awesome experience at life care of Medina ❤️❤️❤️❤️
