Currently in there shelter program with my 2 yr old daughter and have had a positive outcome because of this place and for that so it would be disrespectful to not share my experience with this organization. Ups and downs in life and they have been there and see past through it and show compassion, over and my beyond.

Wrong place .I meant the other place at Volunteers of America .Sorry .
If you guys have kids, just call to see if we have a bed available. If not, we still offer case management services to help place your family.
If you guys have children yes, we are a Family shelter.
Family promise does work with new mothers. I would call ahead and be sure they have space, but if they can't take you in, chances are they will know of a program that can
Yea u can
It's a shelter for only families with children
Hey Reggie. FPofGD offers several different programs. Some with a waitlist, and if they aren't able to get you in in a timely manner, they will give you a list of community resources that can possibly get you some help sooner.
Yes if you have kids and there is also a waiting list but if you have kids you can also go to the Samaritan house and ask for a motel voucher. There is alot of help in Colorado if you just reach out and follow whatever things they ask from you. But most importantly seek after the Lord and he shall direct your paths PROVERBS 3:6
Yes ma'am my name is Chris and i am apart of the program far as living there. I will definitely let Ms Emily know
A family which includes children, can call the day site between 9-5pm M-F to complete an intake over the phone. From there the family can opt into programs of their choice that they qualify for and be placed on shelter wait-list.
Keep calling around. It's a process but if they cant help, they'll help you find somewhere else.
Family promise is an on the go shelter program; unfortunately we do not offer any assistance regarding drug rehabilitation. You may have better help with researching respite care in your area.
First they want to know, why do you choose us. Secondly, they might ask you for your stay length. Thirdly, for sure your ID's will be asked. They have to follow a mandatory process. But definitely they will help you out.
How do I get in touch with anyone? Have been leaving voicemails but noone has gotten back with me
They do hun, call them at 9 so you can get on the waiting list.
Depending on where you want to do this determines who you call.
Family promise is the WORST shelter I have ever stayed in. The staff are alright but this is a family shelter and they have u moving every week from church to church. If you have kids this isn't fun. Which to be in family promise you have to have a kid with you. Its a 3 month stay and u have to have a job after 30 days or they give u the boot. Curfew is 6pm unless ur working than its 10 pm. U wake up at 6 every morning. You go to a daysite until 4 pm then u go to the churches to sleep at night. The churches have vollunteers and 99% of them dont care to be there they hate honeless ppl or they're creepy and way too nebby.
No.
Depending on if rotation is full and yes a family of four os pretty standard. Calling first is the best way to find out what the waiting list is like.
If you are kids, no. If you're all children, you must go to another kind of shelter.
Yes and all the rooms are private.
Yes
Depends on the situation.
This program is specifically for families. Great program that really work. Wonderful group of people who go out of their way to help families on the verge or experiencing homelessness.
Families typically travel to different Church' and many of them won't accept pets.
