The place needs some new carpet, a fresh coat of paint, some updated trim, a relocation of the smoking area (by the front door is quite distasteful), and a schedule so the front desk staff knows the time the complimentary breakfast is open. The lady working the breakfast was top notch and should be honored by the company. She was pleasant, welcoming, and concerned about the food she presented to all customers.

Positive: The bed and pillows were very comfortable with super soft sheets. Decent hot breakfast. It was clean and mostly quiet. Negative: The bathroom smelled like smoke. Housekeeping sprayed for us and then eventually replaced the shower curtain to get rid of the smell. One night someone tried to come in our room, which woke us up. Staff did not apologize to us for the mistake.

Positive: Staff was very nice and informative of the hotel and any questions we had. Quick checking in & out. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was on top of keeping the breakfast buffet filled to keep up with the guests. Great hotel & great location. Negative: The pool area smelled strong of chemicals, some of my children had skin irritation after we were in the pool. A group of people had the hot tub crammed full and we¿re all under the influence. Drinking in the hot tub. Dangerously slick floors, no towels

I have stayed at more than 5 Holiday Inn hotels and I was happy with all of them until this one. This is by far the worst experience. During our stay, the noise was unbearable and the soundproof was poor. There were a group of people partying next to our room from around 7 pm with loud music, door knocking, and laughing/shouting. The party lasted until 3 am in the morning, followed by a one-hour long loud phone call in the hallway and frequently door-knocking again at 7 am in the morning. We couldn't sleep all night. We had to call the front desk multiple times to solve this issue. The staff was very friendly and helpful but she had to come upstairs and interrupt several times to stop the craziness. Judging from the drunk phone calls and weed smell in the hallway and elevator, alcohol and other things were involved. The hotel could have better policies about noise and improper behaviors. It just seems to be poorly managed. Not mentioned small things like no soap in the bath, accumulated dirt on the air conditioner, unclean carpet, and insufficient breakfast supply.
