Positive: Breakfast was great!t Negative: The hotel manager was curt and not terribly helpful! When we asked about pool entrance, she told us she had written code on our key folder and to check that instead of just telling us code! One of our rooms did not have a telephone!

Positive: Nothing we left after about 2 hrs. Negative: The staff was alright, the hallway to our room and reeked of Marijuana, the room ok clean but smelled terrible, the fridge ws dirty, there was always men just standing in the hall way looking very suspicious. The pool was ice cold, it was very unsafe.

Bar closed over two hours earlier than it was supposed to according to online times and when asking the staff why, they were very disrespectful and lied straight to our faces, arguing that the bar closed at a time after we had arrived and found out it was locked. Staff was disrespectful on the phone before coming for our stay as well. Rooms were dirty, super hot when arriving, and all of our appliances were unplugged without us knowing, making us have to move furniture around the room in order to reach a plug in. Rooms have elevated portion in the door causing each one of my family members to trip through the door. Pool is very small without any towels available to dry off. Way over priced for nothing and very poor, disrespectful service.

Do not book rooms through the call center number listed that comes up on a google search. I called the number listed for the Baymont in Dubuque Iowa and got a person that did not speak English well. I thought I booked a reservation. When we got to the hotel to check in there was no reservation. I did not receive a confirmation email. I found out later that the reservation was made for someplace in Indiana and because it was after 4:00 pm they charged my credit and would not cancel it. The manage at Dubuque said this was the 4th time this had happened this week. What a nightmare!
