Friendly workers and nice clean room. Only annoying thing is that the bathroom door doesn't lock (it's a barn door). Breakfast was good and they had a wide variety of things that they restocked regularly. The location is also super convenient next to restaurants and grocery stores if you wanna grab your own food.

We had a great experience with the Hampton. We planned to stay 1 night with both our kids (3 months & 2 years). The staff was friendly, check-in process was easy, and the room was clean and well stocked. We checked in at 3, spent a few hours there and left for dinner at 5. Upon returning for the night, our 2 year old REFUSED to sleep, or let our baby sleep. After 2 hours spent trying to get him to sleep, we elected to drive home at 10:15. I checked out and mentioned that our child wasn't cooperating, but thanks. I never even mentioned a refund. However, that's exactly what they gave me the next day- a full refund. Greatly appreciated- highly recommend the Hampton Dubuque!

Excellent staff that provided good communication about the stay, and was very helpful when anything was needed. Clean, beautiful, and comfortable hotel. Everything was in working order. My kids loved the pool and hot tub. The gym was just fine, no issues, and cold water and towels were complimentary, which was awesome. Breakfast was always on time, and was ok....I just wished there was some more options for healthy conscious people, and that the bread wasn't as dry, but it was overall good! We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was great. Highly recommend, and would definitely stay there again next time we travel to Dubuque!

We drove down to Dubuque from Wisconsin for a rodeo and had asked for an early check-in upon arrival and they were able to accommodate that. The room was a bit smaller than we expected a King room to be but it was still very nice, I especially loved the huge walk in shower! The pool was warm and the hot tub was the perfect temp. The breakfast was great, loved the hot options, Saturday was scrambled eggs, bacon, and biscuits and gravy and Sunday was omelets, sausage and potatoes plus there was the usual waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, hard boiled eggs, breakfast sandwiches, pop tarts yogurt and oatmeal.
