The first room I had smelled like an animal had been living in it. The second room was filthy, I had to purchase cleaning products to clean the tables, bathroom and floors which were sticky. Had hair under the sheets when they were finally pulled back to spray down, yellow stains on the box spring, stains on the covers. I asked for new sheets and had to put them on myself because they didn’t have housekeeping. There was no phone in the room, the pool was shut down (which I had no clue about until check in). There was a pile of trash left by the elevator (which the inspection certificate was expired on 4/2022), and to make matters worse the room also has roaches. Needless to say I did not stay in the room after seeing the roaches. And to make matters worse I was charged a second time even tho I prepaid for the rooms. If I could give ZERO stars I would. I was in town to mourn the loss of grandmother and that was exasperated by this horrible experience. I was told to contact the manager the next day only to be told I couldn’t speak to her regarding my refund until TUESDAY!!! The absolute WORST hotel and service.

Check in staff was very friendly. Some of the clientele is questionable. We stayed one night but had paid for 2 through Orbitz. I would suggest the Sleep Inn several miles up the road.

The 3 stars are for the pleasant staff and hot breakfast. Hotel looks rough. It appears that they are trying to update the hotel but they are doing it piecemeal and it kind of has a third world country vibe due to the odd bits and pieces of building materials and a large variety of paint colors and painfully DIY construction. We had a used up garden tub with dirty jets for a bath tub but it didn't actually work for anything more than to stand in to bathe. There was a kitchenette that was completely empty? And the bedding was OLD. We slept ok and it was under $100 so there's that... But I would only recommend a wyndham if there was absolutely nothing else in your price range. The one we stayed at the night before would not even get 1 star. Wyndhams have really gone downhill... They are now franchised out to whoever with no standards at all.

Positive: . Negative: Room was disgusting. No towels, pillows, old dried food left all over the floor and counters. Floors were dirty. Bathroom not clean. Extremely disappointed

No, I would say it is not safe, and they have had bedbug problems.
no but closest hotel right by the post
They do have a pool, I went to the Baymont in South Carolina near Fort Jackson, and the Baymont in Virginia by Fort Lee, their pools are located outside. I have to say the pool in the Baymont in SC was way better kept then the one in VA. The Baymont in VA did have a sauna which was pretty cool. Really like the Baymont Inns, and would highly recommend...
