My FAVORITE place to be in the Summer❣

Lots of inexpensive fun. Shallow end for the little kiddos. Life jackets are there, but many need to be replaced. So bring your own. Not much shade, there’s one big cabana with tables. Lifeguards are attentive when on duty, they don’t allow horse play. There’s a rock climbing wall you ascend then you can drop off into the pool, a splash pad open as part of the entry fee, big slide you must be 48” to go on it. No exceptions. Near by is a nice park, a couple of large pavilions, a great climbing structure and the splash pad is open even if the pool isn’t.

We love this pool for the last 4 year my grandchildren and I have gone at least 3times a week. We hate that it hasn’t been open this summer. Oakland pool is nice but WAY crowded we have only been swimming once this whole summer. We have been waiting for July 1, and here it is July 3 and the Wes site still says closed.

Cost for admission is only $1.25 and children 1 and under are free. Because of low admission price, no pass books are offered for this pool.
Douglass is scheduled to open on July 1.
Actually, yesterday (8/4) was the last day this season for Douglass Family Aquatic Center. Albert-Oakland Family Aquatic Center (AOFAC) is open through this weekend, August 11, and then is open only on the weekends + Labor Day, weather permitting. AOFAC's last day open is Labor Day, September 2.
We are closed today because the projected high temperature for the day is below 75 degrees, which is according to our pool policy. You can call our hotline at 573-874-7663 for updated facility closing notices before you head out, especially in case of storms or cool weather.
