I had to venture into the Courthouse today to file paperwork and everyone I came in contact with in the different rooms and floors were very kind and helpful. They explained everything to me as I stopped at each station and in just a few minutes I’m filed and awaiting notification as to proceed. I hope this good karma holds up when I get in front of the judge to explain the case. I’ve never done this before but so far I’m enjoying the new venture and learning a lot! The building is clean though old. The good attitude from everyone, even the local police (🙄) was refreshing.

As a self represented litigant, filing at the Kings County Supreme Court involves matters above a certain criteria. I believe it is over $25000, for Supreme Court filings. It is within the New York State Unified Court System.

You can't have the original; that's kept by the court. You can get a certified copy at the clerk's office.
Check with clerk office
You would be looking for the Matrimonial Department; it's on the 10th Floor. Might wanna start at the self-help office on the 1st Floor to get a packet with forms and instructions, though.
No idea what you are talking about. What is your question???
It depends on what type of case. Is it a Civil case? Criminal case? Kings County Supreme Civil at 360 Adams street handles cases of civil suits over $25,000.
That is in criminal court. This is Supreme civil
Go to 225 Varick street NY NY Legal Action Center. .you can Google Legal action center

You can check with the self help room 122c. Their hours are Tues thru Thursday 10-3
You can just walk into the court. What access do you need at the courthouse
I need to find out how to get a family member out of an agencies hands. They are taking extremely too much money an they are not getting proper services.
125 Worth street is bureau of vital statistics. Birth certificate issues are dealt there. Google them and call to be sure that they are open to the public due to the coronavirus
You can go in person they are downtown Brooklyn I believe the address is 360 Adams
Not of my knowledge, however to get documents it can be in person on the site of the building. The front door is not open to the public.
Now if your looking for divorce forms they way its being done now due to covid . You have to go to www.nycourts.gov/forms to either download and print out the forms there's a index number fee of 210 and a filing fee of 125 there's also an application u can fill out and show reason for not being able to pay courts and possibly get them waived. I hope this helps
Not sure .They wouldn't allow anyone in. Someone comes out to help you as best as they could.
You can stop by and request a copy.
No but you need to know date and place of your marriage
Tax issues are retrievable at the Municipal Bldg at 210 Joralemon St on the 1st floor.
360 Adam's St lower level any of the officers can point you in the right direction when you go in

Go to the Supreme court where your change of name petition was granted. See the clerk of the change of name part and request a certified copy of the approved change of name petition.
Civil Supreme court 360 Adam's St. Bklyn NY 11201 Criminal Supreme 320 Jay St Bklyn NY 11201
U can come to the building go to the jury clerks office and tell them this person nolonger lives here. The jury clerks office is open from 9-4 M-F. If it's a Supreme civil summons its 360 Adams st. If its Supreme Criminal its 320 Jay st. Look at the date on the summons
Clerks office at 360 Adam's St. If it was done in Brooklyn.
Alot of the clerks and court reporters are notaries far as a notaries office no
Yes they can and if it's stagnant for too long its dismissed.
The jury clerk usually says between 4-8wks after service
That will depend on the Judge. Some judges dont want children in the courtroom. It also depends on if the child can behave and sit still while your case is being handled during the hearing he will not be able to co.e up with you he will be seated in the audience. You can ask that he be able to sit near you but he will not be able to come up with you while the hearing is conducted. Just to let you know I am an employee so I'm not giving you bogus info
You shouldve gotten a business card at your arraignment. Otherwise the clerk's office on the 13th floor could provide you with that information.
Goodmorning if it was a case for Brooklyn Supreme court come to 320 Jay street go to the 13th floor clerks office and they will provide it. There is a charge of $10 I was told if you are on public assistance 1 will be provided free of charge. Not making any assumptions I'm just passing information. The heading says 360 Adam's st. that building is the Civil Supreme court
That's not possible go into the clerk office they will help clarify the issue and confirm whether any thing was filed
Bet Adam's and Jerolomon St. Entry on Adam's and also Court
Civil actions are filed here regarding social security and what type of filing you would probably show up and inquire
What you should do is make a complaint with your bank so you can get your money back. Also you sue in Supreme Court if the business is in Brooklyn, and over 25k under go to civil court. That all being said I would suggest you file a complaint with your bank to get your money back. Gl
I belive 8 and 25 cents for each additional page
Make a stipulation to adjourn, contact the other side. If you're self represented, by application (OSC or Motion to the judge)
In America you can sue anyone but it doesn't mean you'll win. You definitely have to have a few noise complaints filed with NYPD to have it in record.
If you go to court ask for pro se help they will give you a form to fill out
Actually, if no kids, ny resident at least 2 yrs you can goto www.nycourthelp.gov, you can print out the papers.. If not, the Help Center is rm 122C hrs are Tues-Thurs 930 to 445 to get the forms
You mean a copy of your divorce decree? You can go to the court to get a certified copy. I think it costs 8.gl
$335 uncontested
No to both. Mon to Fri 8:30 to 4:30 gl
Minimum of $25,000
I'm sorry. I went there for jury duty.
Did you get a notice? I assume this was criminal court? You can go to criminal court and ask them where you should go
You can go to nycourts.gov and look at e-filing or go to the court house and use the computer there.
That is the civil court 141 Livingston street. You will need to go there to talk to them with your paperwork good luck
Clerk office first floor
I think you go to the county clerks office
Yes they are open. Only closed on national holidays
Call the part and speak to the clerk. Up to each judge. If you do write a letter be sure to send a copy to the other side
Like Charlotte said you go to 360 Adam Street go to the lower level the first floor the county clerk's office they have kiosks and they also have employees there that can help you find what you need
No clue..I say get a lawyer
I have no clue.. sorry
Criminal court in the county you live in. You need to speak to the DA in that county
While the main entrance has a large outdoor staircase, there are also grade-level entrances at both short sides of the building. Accordingly - aside from - (1) several courtrooms at the north end of the 4th floor, up some steps from the elevator-accessible level; and (2) the lawyer's library reading room and upper stacks; I believe the balance of this 11 floor courthouse is wheelchair friendly.
