I stay here a lot and the check in was great and the room was great. This morning, 6-22-22, at checkout there were two black male employees. One was a tall guy and the other guy was shorter. The tall guy could not ring me up for a bottled water. I believe he was new and was having difficulty figuring it out. He asked the shorter black male, obviously an experienced employee how to do it and that employee wouldn't help him. In the mean time I'm waiting and waiting, and waiting merely to be rung up for a bottled water while the experienced employee decided to disavow himself to helping out and then started taking phone calls. I ended up walking away empty handed. Yes, this is a minor thing but it was rude and unprofessional. The senior employee has no business training anyone or working in customer service.

The hotel is just about brand new. We spent 10 days (9 nights) here and it was great. Rooms are spacious, modern, clean and have all the amenities you'd expect. Housekeeping did a great job. Staff were all friendly, polite, and accommodating. The indoor pool was great! Hot tub was nice. The fitness center was clean and the equipment was functional and well maintained. And the laundry room came in handy! No need to find a laundromat or fuss with a laundry service. The dining/bar area was great too! Food was good and plenty of local beer on tap. The icing on the cake is the location. You can walk to the Biltmore Village shops and there's numerous fast food and convenience stores within walking distance. The hotel itself sits on a plaza with a Starbucks and other businesses too. So no need to pile in the car and drive if you simply want a quick meal, snacks, or coffee that the hotel doesn't offer. All in all this is a great hotel for a visit to Asheville. It has everything you could possibly need, is conveniently located, and the staff were great!

We have really enjoyed staying here this week! We traveled from Florida for a getaway in the mountains and chose this hotel because we have had great success with IHG, particularly Holiday Inn. This hotel certainly did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, Jonathan made us feel right at home. The preferences I had requested were already in the system and the room was above and beyond our expectations. We chose a Suite, 2 king bedrooms and two bathrooms. It had a full kitchen and a nice living room space with a pretty view. Just a heads up, the kitchen does not have utensils or dishes so be prepared to bring your own. The hotel has an on-site restaurant that also serves breakfast (not included) and a very nice indoor heated pool with hot tub to relax in no matter what the weather outside. The hotel is centrally located to anything and everything you would want to enjoy in Asheville and the surrounding towns and gorgeous mountains. Although it’s right on the main road you would never know it, it was quiet and very comfortable. Andrea at the front desk was also extremely helpful. All around this was a delightful stay and we will definitely be back!

The hotel was clean, convenient and very close to Biltmore. The staff were exceptional. The front desk night manager was pleasant and concerned for 2 over 60 womens safety. Although the area is very safe, he watched our parking the car and return to the lobby. Enabling us to head to our room laughing. The room was exceptionally clean and fresh. Beds offered a good night's sleep and no road noise. Restaurant staff were welcoming and breakfast was great.
