Ms tonya once you go to seps they'll set you up with an appointment with a seps housing specialist, i had my voucher and no real estate wanted to take my voucher,it's much easier if they found you an apartment

Once approved it takes the same amount to of time as a one shot deal. Just make sure you qualify first

Farida VG when you go there have all the paperwork. All of it. They are a non profit organization that works with the city. They are a band aid not the cure. And their apt selections are depressing unless you want to go to SI. They are just as lazy as some city workers and I couldn't get the help I needed. You have to stay on top of them. The best housing voucher is section 8. Good luck.

Yes your voucher is good in the city of ny. I just received my Section 8 voucher so I'm looking forward towards the arduous and painful search of finding the right home for me.

Landlords won't accept The SEPS program because they can't get paid on time. Section 8 is the only way to go.
