Held a team retreat at the Brooklyn Grange Farm and it was amazing! Emma, their events manager, made planning our event unbelievably easy. Our tour guide, Alex, and beekeeper, Tori, were knowledgeable and engaging and answered all of our many questions with ease! The view was great and lunch was delicious (and included plenty of options for various dietary needs) - I would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a fun team activity.

Went for an Outstanding in the Field dinner and the Grange was an epic location. Beautiful views and an amazing, educational experience and concept for all ages.

Had a wonderful time today at the Farmer For a Day workshop. Gareth was very knowledgeable and personable, we learned a lot and got to get our hands dirty tending some pepper plants. I brought my 7 year old and it was a really fun day out for us. Cheers to the Brooklyn Grange for the great work they are doing and for a very satisfying workshop!

Hi Christine, We would love to have you up for a visit during your stay! Please check visiting hours on our website before heading over! Our LIC location is open Saturdays through October from 11am till 4pm (www.BrooklynGrangeFarm.com/visit), and our location at the Brooklyn Navy Yard is open for tours and events, which are listed here: www.BrooklynGrangeFarm.com/upcoming. We look forward to having you! -Anastasia & the BG Team
Hey Mendel, We do! Check out our upcoming events calendar, www.BrooklynGrangeFarm.com/upcoming. Hope to see you at a workshop soon!
Hey Virginia, it's too cold to be up on the roof at this time of year, so our visiting hours and tours are on hiatus till spring. But we have some really cool classes and workshops coming up in our indoor space, so you can get your farm fix all through the chilly months! Check them out, as well as info about visiting when we reopen in May, at www.BrooklynGrangeFarm.com/Visit.
Hi Mark, There are indeed bike racks at which you can lock up in front of our Brooklyn Navy Yard location. However, please make sure to check visiting hours on our website before heading over! www.BrooklynGrangeFarm.com/visit Due to restrictions imposed by Brooklyn Navy Yard security, our location there is not open to visitors except for tours and events, which are listed here: www.BrooklynGrangeFarm.com/upcoming. Thanks for your interest! -Anastasia & the BG Team
Hi Joe, We don't have Pick Your Own strawberries, but we do have Pick Your Own cherry tomatoes, peppers, and ground cherries (like a smaller, sweeter gooseberry!), at our Long Island City location during our Saturday open house periodically when those crops are in season. You can find the hours and location of our Saturday open house in LIC here: www.BrooklynGrangeFarm.com/visit Because the Brooklyn Navy Yard is not open to the public, we can't host a public open house at our location there. However, our Brooklyn location is open for tours and events, which you can read more about here: www.BrooklynGrangeFarm.com/upcoming Thanks for your interest! -Anastasia & the BG team
