No. Nothing for sale. It's an educational farm mostly for kids
No, i thought that too but no you can't
Nope its open to the public, better to visit Saturday or sunday cause they have a program for the kiddos
Dogs are not permitted in the farm. You are, however, more than welcome to enjoy the rest of the park with your dog on their leash.
I'm afraid we don't have pumpkin picking available in the farm (our produce is primarily used in our free education programming for schools and summer camps). We will have some pumpkins available at the Harvest Festival on Sunday, October 14th from 12pm to 4pm. The pumpkins tend to run out early so we advise you to come soon after noon. That said there will be a number of great free activities all afternoon long from kite making to squash bowling to meeting the flock of chickens. See our website for more information at www.randallsisland.org
There will be a "Harvest Festival" October 14 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm Join the Randall’s Island Park Alliance for a free, family-friendly celebration of fall. • Live musical performances • Pumpkin decorating • Face painting • Kite flying (bring your own or make on-site) • Meet the chickens • Crafts, games, and more! Location: Urban Farm & Fields 62/63 randallsisland.org/events/?action=tribe_photo&tribe_paged=3&tribe_event_display=photo
Thanks for the question. While there are some apple trees planted near the farm alongside ballfield 62 that we use to teach the historic importance of apples in New York, there isn't any apple picking.
