If I could give this place 0 I would. New management is rude and uninviting. My husband has been coming to Eagle Canyon since he was was a child. New management has ruined the experience My kids grew up with for several years. If they know you personally, they will treat you like dirt. My dog was attacked by another dog and they banned my family from the campground because they knew us.

The campground itself is great - very clean and quite. The bathhouses are heated, roomy and CLEAN. We were unable to utilize the store (it was closed during our stay). The outdoor checkers and swimming pool looked fun. Staff were very friendly. The only drawback is it is slightly a long journey to get to down a dirt rode with a couple of blind hills.

Nice, clean cabin. Far from lake, even when it isn't down. 100 yards or so from campers, other cabins, office, pool, and playground. Good for family looking for privacy. Not good for family who brought their own skis or boat. Staff was very friendly and more knowledgeable than the kids working gate duty at other parts of the lake. You work at a lake- you should be able to give directions to a boat ramp. Eagle canyon staff knew their guano.

This place was great. The cabins were clean and much roomier than I had expected. They had threw air conditioning turned up so that the cabin was nice and cool. I had expected the pans and utensils provided to be of lower quality but they were pretty decent. There was a gas grill on the covered porch which came in handy as not to heat the indoors area, not to mention the fact that it rained both days and it was pleasant to sit on the deck and watch the rain. The restrooms and showers provided for the use of customers not starting in a cabin with these amenities were nice as well. They sell firewood and kindling, have sand volleyball, horseshoes, basketball court, DVD rentals as well as a fully stocked general store. We will be staying again the next time we visit Lake Mac.
