Beautiful place to park by lake to take a swim. There are only a few parking spots but not too busy. There is a ten dollar a day parking fee which goes to maintaining the area. It is adjacent to a small campground for a few motorhomes and tents lakeside.

No, closes 4th weekend in october. Ackerman campground is year round though
