Stayed here for one night. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. A little noisy like kids may have been running in halls but nothing too serious. We didn't use any of the amenities but they do have a pool. Check out is at 11 and house keeping knocked on the door at 9 am. I was a little annoyed at that. Otherwise great stay. I would stay again and recommend.

Absolutely the rudest employees we have experienced in the 10,000 miles we have driven on our trip. There are written rules on all the doors and walls. They won't even turn the lignts on in the lounge until exactly 6 AM.

This chain is no longer as advertised. I used to think of this as a reliable chain with breakfast & a pool. At check in I asked about the pool being open (I asked because the Hampton inn two weeks ago has pool issues).. “Yes it’s open!” With a smile “but the lock on the gate doesn’t work so you can’t really get in or out” I booked this location based on the pool so I asked about discounts & am informed the price is the same. I protested - but the amenities are not the same. Nothing. Later I see a family hopping the fence leaving.the pool. We chatted. The front desk had approved jumping the fence but “the pool was gross.” So many red flags in liability!!!! Reviews tell me this is an ongoing problem at this location. I would not recommend this hotel and I think this is my last Hampton Inn.

Why is the pool closed in SC mid April when it's over 80* all week? Everything else was it least average or better. *edit: Staff has been super friendly and welcoming. Room was clean, although I think it's time for an update to the carpet, furnishings and such.
