So I was there the other day for severe back pain. Like I was pale, crying, and shaking, I was in that much pain. It took two hours just to get back into the room and way too long once back there to see someone about it. The lady who finally came in, when I described my pain said to me "I've never heard of something like that" and "well I don't think it's a pulled muscle, you don't just pull a muscle" all while looking at me like I'm absolutely insane. After the solid minute of her just trying to make me feel like I'm crazy she told me "there's nothing we can do for you here. Try the ER." It turns out after a trip to the ER, I have kidney stones and I'm not crazy, I was in in extreme amounts of pain. It would have been nice to know a lot earlier that they couldn't do anything for me there instead of keeping me there in a lot of pain and not able to do anything about it. Also when I got to the ER and told them I was just at urgent care it was great to know that they totally could have helped me, and they think they're a bunch of clowns. So yeah, just go to the emergency room.

I went here on August 9th due to excruciating pain in my wrist. I was seen by NP Susan West. She asked for details, then she flat out told me I had tendinitis (after telling her that’s what I *thought* I had) and told me there was nothing she could do for me. No X-rays or anything. She seemed impatient and left the room to have another nurse come wrap my arm. While I was waiting for the other nurse, I heard NP West outside my door mocking me to another coworker. Her exact words were “my wrist has been hurting since June” which is exactly what I told her. It was unprofessional and embarrassing and when I made an appointment at the orthopedics, they were also appalled at how I was treated. I felt like I was brushed off. Not everyone has the means to see a doctor the second they get hurt, but thanks for making me feel like I didn’t matter.
