Right at home is wonderful!! Have been using since spring and the people who have come to work with my husband have bee fantastic!! Also, Dawn, the coordinator is so great to work with. Right at Home has been a true life saver for us!!!

Right at Home has been such a blessing for our family. Their superior care has allowed my mother, who recently had a stroke, to stay in her own home. The caregivers truly care ABOUT her, not just for her. They have made the transition from living on her own to needing 24 hour care seamless. They have become part of the family. The office staff is readily available to deal with last minute schedule changes if needed and never leads you to believe it is a problem. I strongly recommend that if you are in need of in home care, you should consider Right at Home.

I have been employed under the Right at Home "umbrella" since 2004, this company ,Our founder, our owners, our clients and our caregivers are FAMILY !!!! Caring for others will always be our priority, this includes our clients and our care giving staff. Myself , our office staff and our Current caregivers take our MISSION, our responsibilities and what we stand for and the care we provide extremely personal ! Our Nurse is full of awesome knowledge and wants to be completely THOROUGH on the information he is sharing during his training. RIght at Home is an excellent place to work at. The staff is extraordinary, very caring for the staff and the clients. I have worked for this company several years and have never had any problems. If I have a concern(s) it’s always solved in a timely manner. My only complaint is this company do not have direct deposit. Hopefully one day it will come into fruition. I take my hats off to RAH.

Yes. Every caregiver is employed by our local Right at Home office. To help ensure the safety and well-being of our clients, we perform a criminal history background clearance and then cover each caregiver with general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. Be wary of agencies that claim the caregivers are “independent contractors.” In most cases, caregivers do not qualify as “independent contractors” according to tax and labor laws.
Veterans and their surviving spouses who require the regular aid and attendance of another person for the activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, etc., may qualify for a special “Aid and Attendance” (A&A) benefit, in addition to their monthly pension. This benefit is available to honorably discharged veterans and their surviving spouses who meet eligibility criteria. Assets are included in the equation for eligibility, with exclusions for personal property such as the veteran’s home or vehicle. I think so because you will be transporting clients or shopping for them. You do need reliable transportation so I don't think you would be able to use public transportation to get to work. Many clients live outside of town and you would not be able to get to their house.
