Wow what a great place for our family of 6 with our teenage boys. Surf to sound in walking distance from the Beach to the Sound in a few minutes, this was one of our best beach vacations in the US. We can recommend this beach experience as outstanding. The resort services are endless and the personal super friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful decorated and the whole hotel is a unique experience for people who love family owned boutique hotels with special charm and character. We have had happiness all around during this vacation! Thank you for this great experience Blockage Runner crew!

The staff was wonderful and engaging. I felt that my patronage was appreciated. My only complaint was the room. The photos during booking seemed nicer with more comfortable furniture and decor. They did offer an upgrade but my stay was short, but the offer was appreciated. The grounds are great and I will stay again, but will change rooms to see if there are better options.

I loved everything about the Blockade Beach Resort. Getting a balcony room is a MUST! It is breathtaking! Loved the staff and the gardens and cool little areas where you could sit in Adirondack chairs all about. Loved the pool area and indoor and outdoor bar. Miguel is a great bartender w awesome tunes rollin! Helped and served wonderfully by many others and LOVED it!

Better than a great deal of oceanfront hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff were nothing short of being welcoming and helpful. The breakfast food was nice as well. While the rooms themselves were not exactly roomy, they were acutely kept (with the beds being quite comfortable despite initial impressions). Furthermore, the view of the beachfront was remarkable! Overall, I would say this is a fine place to stay, and I could only imagine the experience during the warmer months.
