Shark Bar and Kitchen

We visited Wrightsville Beach July 1st-8th. We made our first visit to Shark Bar on the 4th. The service was wonderful, and the food was fantastic. I could even say it was better than a more upscale place we went later in the week. We were so pleased with the whole experience that we actually went back a second time on the 7th for one last great meal before we left town. We had no wait for a table our first visit and our drinks and food came out quickly. They were out of the normal syrup for one of our drinks, so our server used a backup they had on hand and assured me that if I didn't like it, she would make me something else, no charge. We ended up sitting at the bar our second visit to avoid a 30 minute wait for a table and our drinks and food took a little longer, but the place was PACKED and servers/bartenders were running around like mad. They never lost their friendly attitudes, though, and we were still in and out in a little over an hour. If we ever end up in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

Super cute restaurant, excellent and professional staff. Clean tables, floors, and bathroom. Food (not the salsa) was amazing. Drink prices were CHEAP!!!! Loved it. Just go there and be happy. A wonderful and unexpected surprise.

My absolute favorite spot in The Willmington. I ate a few dozen oysters here while in the area! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and fresh food. Highly recommend.

Went here on a work trip and took my husband back a few days later on our anniversary trip to Carolina beach. I would whole heartedly drive out of Carolina beach to come here. We ate at Carolina Smokehouse on our anniversary and while the presentation was great our food had no flavor. On our way back to Charlotte we had a redo and left super satisfied. I had the portobello burger the last time but didn't get a pic.
