Used to work there when it was REALLY Rochester Wire Rope. (1980s) "Cable from the Blue Ridge" I worked there as an industrial electrician. Got to make many VERY good friends. It makes me sad to see that they closed down the "rope mill" part of it. That's how they got a good reputation as "The Cadillac of Ropes". I sure hope they kept the mural around the staircase in the main building. It was a pictoral representation of the history of rope making.
