I've lived around the country and know what poor service is like. REC does a great job and rates are reasonable. They even called me during the pandemic and asked if I needed help paying the bill. people forget that annual credit to the bill almost every year. People complain that REC isn't prepared for storms. I guess I would wonder why those people aren't prepared.

Terrible company! No breaks whatsoever. No heart, no understanding. They are awful. Disconnect you without any hesitatation for 1 day late

This company is predatory. REC attempts to use intimidation to collect false debts. If you move and their services are no longer available where you move to, expect retaliation on their behalf.

Terribly expensive, but they do offer payment plans. Ask about budget billing if you're in a tight spot!

When will my power be on Norman Road Culpeper Va
Check on your outrage here https://www.myrec.coop/outagecenter/index.cfm Sometimes it's scheduled maintenance.
It's not. Out since 4:30pm (12/16) and REC said it could be a couple more days because our areas are not big enough.
Yes - REC members can pay their electric bill online using MyREC SmartHub. Start using MyREC SmartHub today at https://myrec.smarthub.coop/Login.html
How long will power be out on Towles Mill road
Haven't a clue
The only way that i know of is to have Rappahannock Electric visit your home and have the line buried underground. But that cost, im not sure exactly how much but its not cheap.
Yes
That's an automatic recloser that tries to restore a fault when something falls or faults on the power line. If say a limb falls on the power line it'll shut the power off. once the limb continues falling to the ground the power will restore. However if the limb falls and stays on the line itll try to reclose the fault three times and then itll shut the line off. It's to protect you're house, linemen, and equipment further down from burning up.
What's wrong with it ,? Something major ??? How old is it ???
You're neighborhood is separated by different circuits. Or are services by different power companies. Normally it's just that you're neighbors are on different circuits.
