The market was wonderful. The pumpkins were beautiful. The apples were exquisite. They had a celosia plant that was like a masterpiece painting. The scarecrows were whimsical. No review of the festival because it was packed on a Thursday (loads of school busses especially) and we are still socially distancing.

My partners and I went to the fall festival on opening weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. The entire place was pure, kitschy fun. There were goofy, paper mache fairy tale characters along the himing trail and an amazing themed hay ride, complete with dinosaur statues and an enchanted barn that was reminiscent of an abandoned chuck e cheese. The corn maze monster museum was great. It was like a cheesy small town haunted house attraction during the day, just wonderful. The live music was wonderful and brought on a sense of nostalgia. There were slides open for use by all ages and free cider and apple samples available throughout the day. This place really helped me feel in touch with my inner child for the first time in years.

Bigger and better than ever. They have SO many options for all ages. Their apple cider may be the best Ive tasted. A must go. Tip: go during the weekday as its so less crowded and less expensive.

Cox farms has THE northern Virginia fall festival. The slides are for kids and adults alike, especially the dino slide and volcano slide. This was my first year on the hay ride-- do this first while you're still fresh and lines aren't too long. It was so much fun. The corniness is by design and hilarious. Their lemonade is some of our favorite in the area. I learned this year there's a food stand with salads! They give away apples and small cups of cider for consumption on-site. Your ticket also includes a small pumpkin at the end. Bring: Sunscreen, a hat, hand sanitizer, mud-proof shoes, and your stroller with the best wheels. See: The tractor museum (I was so sure this wasn't my style, but I really enjoyed it!), the goats, and the llama. Buy: Apple Cider Donuts, decorative gourds, pumpkins, preserves and syrup Skip: Barbeque platter lunch. One more shout-out: The llama escaped into the goat enclosure while we were there, and the staff immediately proceeded to execute the best crowd control I've ever seen to get everyone away from her while they wrangled her back to her pen. I've worked in emergency management for 15 years and the Cox staff outdid seasoned law enforcement in getting 50-75 adults and children to move quickly!

There are many many slides, a hayride, a corn maze, all the cider and apples you can consume while there, a cow milking show, lots of farm animals, a Billy goat farm you can go into and pet and feed them. The place is amazing and super fun!
Yes,try to put him or her on you lap and hold her or him tight when you slide down!
Didnt see a single dog all weekend...didnt see any signs either...
All of the listed items. Fairly standard, kettle corn, pies, apple cider donuts, and pizza.
You don't have to pay if you just want to purchase something at their farm stand, but in order to experience their Fall Festival you must pay an entrance fee.

You definitely wanna get the doughnuts and popcorn before the hayride. It makes the ride more fun with snacks in your car. You also want to book in advance it makes it a lot smoother.
Unfortunately, our Fall Festival is closed this year, so we will not have the usual slides and other activities. However, we're offering a couple safer ways to celebrate Fall 2020, including a "self-driven hayride" in which you drive your own vehicle through our hayride route, as well as an online market with drive-through pickup. You can find more information about our Fall 2020 offerings here: https://coxfarms.com/fall-festival/
Our normal Fall Festival and Fields of Fear events will be closed for 2020, but we are offering some safer ways for folks to celebrate the fall season! Slides, hay ride, lots of playgrounds, and animals to visit. My 5 year old loved the corn "maze" this year. For an additional fee, you can pan for gems at a sluice. Plus there's plenty of kettle corn, caramel apples, and other treats!
Yes there is a Military Discount
$20 on the weekends, $7 during off peak times and $7 if purchased between 4-5 on on the weekdays
They have a haunted hay ride and Halloween stuff. Not sure if tonight tho
It depends, its fun at any age. 1-3 hours. Go at night for the Halloween stuff, probably more their speed.
Ticket required for everyone 2 years old and older- under 24 months is free. http://www.coxfarms.com/fallfestival/ticketbooth.aspx
Credit cards are accepted at every spot.
No. They do not allow pets
Depends on the season
It depends on the day of the week you go. Plus they have their prices listed on their website http://www.coxfarms.com/fallfestival/ticketbooth.aspx
Depends on the day. Weekends/fridays are more expensive. They also have tickets that cost less if you're visiting at the end of the day before closing
It is more geared towards elementary age children. It has slides, rope swings, animals, a hay ride, goats to feed, and food. Also includes free apple cider, free apples, and a free pumpkin as you exit the farm. It is a large farm with dirt roads/paths. If the elderly person is good at walking and enjoys watching children play, they would like it. I think it would be difficult with a wheelchair, unless it was motorized.
6 i believe, they have night time events that they prep for
Yes, you get one small pumpkin for everyone wearing a wristband, and you can purchase larger ones as well.
Yes. There will be live music this Saturday.
The price of tickets vary depending on the day you go. Less busy days have cheaper pricing. Visit their website for specific details, and don't forget to buy your tickets online the night before you go. It saves a lot of time waiting in line when you get there!
