I rode here more than 40 years ago as my first real riding experiences. At summer camp and when I leased one of the horses for a short time. My experiences were so wonderful here, with the people and horses, I can still remember today as vividly as if it were a few years ago. If I still lived in Virginia when I was raising my daughter I would have sent her here. The Mulford's are a wonderful family with decades of experience. I thank them very much for what they taught me as a new rider and for the lifelong memories.

Our son is having a blast at Mulford Riding School! We chose the 90 minute lessons with a dedicated trainer. The extra cost for a dedicated trainer versus small group sessions was minimal, and we think it's definitely worth a tiny bit more to have a trainer one on one for the lessons. Our son is so excited to go each weekend. The time spent before and after riding with their horse is so nice too. Professional staff, great prices, great location. Just all positives from us. They have a viewing area for parents or grandparents to watch from as well. Highly recommend!

My three kids loved the summer camp!! They had a minimum of three hours working and riding the horses, as well as inside activities such as Art to get out of the sun on those hot days. My children and their group got out on the trails as well, which they loved. They learned so much and are begging for lessons!
