I want to express my disappointment re the water in the main pool/jacuzzi. I was in the spa with my friend on 10/4/22 around 4:30 pm, the water was extremely hot -100 degrees, created steam above the water and made it difficulty breathing. I asked the staff to open the door to locker room to get fresh air inside, she refused , stating the people complaints. Then I asked second time, maybe some other people told her , finally she opened the door, but the temperature in the pool still was 100 degrees. I noted that other people were not able to stay longer period of time in the water because of the heat. Usually, we enjoys the time in the spa, but at that time, we could not stay because we were not feeling well. It is not the first time when the water is very hot. Would be nice if the management or technicians whoever manages the temperature in the pools just go and try to stay in the pool when water is 100 degrees. It is dangerous.

Was my first time here, yet, not my first time at bath houses, I felt disappointed on a few fronts. The shower area didn't have soap and only had shampoo. I have never been to a bath house that didn't have soaps, body and face, shampoo and conditioners. The water temp was barely above body temperature and there were a lot of floating areas with grim/hair etc. All disappointing to say the least. However, the common area was large and clean along with the different spa rooms. The food was also delicious and so were the drinks. I will give this place another try in hopes that it was just an off day.

Came back on a weekday and had the most relaxing time. The weekend crowd is getting a wee noisy for my taste. Got to do absolutely everything there. The scrubs are so worth it. Massages hit the spot. And the poultice rooms are always the best place to just take in quality time.

1st problem is that they are very difficult to provide the steam service.

The locker and pools( which are all nude) is separate but there is a hallway that leads to the saunas/restaurant/snack bar/and laying rooms that is Unisex.
It is clean at 2am and open back up on 6am. Call ahead of time to confirm as these times changes
There were folks of all sizes when we went. I had to try a couple of times to get the right sized bottoms for me, but eventually found a pair that fit comfortably without being too lose. Currently wearing size 16 jeans. It didn't feel like anyone was paying attention to anyone in that way.
Yes!
In the sauna area you wear the provided tee shirt and shorts; this area is coed. The pool area is same sex and nude.
Because people aren't swimming and they know it's nude. Go to a public free pool you want to swim.
cleanliness.
No
Not sure what time they start scrub appointments but I assume shortly after opening up in the morning. I would call before going and inquire
And phones, i.e., camera phones, are prohibited in the nude areas
Only the bade pool areas are separated because you must be naked. You can relax and enjoy the poultice rooms, common area, and snack bar/restaurant with him!
Plenty of hotels there. We stayed at Extended Stay America for about $90 for my daughter and I
Guys and girls seperated
Valentine's day price in Groupon is $65 for two but $35 for one person. The deal is still available even after Valentine's day. $40 on a walk-in bases for one person. $80 for two flat. Over all, this will be money well spent. They also have a one year pass for $2000. One year pass with full 24/h access. I have that access. I bet you didn't know about this. Don't tell anybody that I told you but $2000 for a year in Centreville is definitely worth it. You can take a nap. You can take a bath. You can buy a food and eat. You can also meet nice people who mind their own businesses. I was also told that one online reviewer stated that undercover police always come here and relax. I guess they can't go undercover when they are nake😂 If you get here at Spa World ask about the Napoleon deal. It is the $2000 a year membership package.
You do not need to make appointment in advance for body, you book when you get there to use the facilities. However, you need to book in advance for massage. Note: the workers are very aggressive regarding 'tip'. They WILL BULLY you into giving them 20%. You are not given a chance to make the offer yourself. I guess they think if they dont BULLY customers to give them "tips", they won't be given .
Not sure because the changing areas are strictly binary.
Yes there are many saunas yall can do together and the couples massage. The body scrub is in the pool area so you will be separated for that part
What is a bade pool?
Is all depends on what you want they do have a list or menu that you can choose from n of course they have different prices.
No it's not they are saying reopen mid August.
As of two weeks ago, the women's pool was open but the men's was broken
Just a towel in the sauna. Why you need to be naked in the pool is beyond me. Apparently, its "policy"". The pools are currently drained and closed currently because of the beer virus. To be honest, last time I was there, which was 2 weeks ago. I didn't get the vibe of a real spa. More like a school gym locker room . My girl said her massage was horrendous 😩. Bottom line is, wouldn't recommend to anyone.
No, from what I seen, they only have Massages. For scheduled appointments
No. Just go in.
I was there on a weekend afternoon/evening. I didn't see many kids, and there is a day care center on site. The biggest irritant I saw were teenage girls giggling, talking, and on their cell phones. It wasn't terrible and, unless you speak Korean, you're not likely to know whether they're talking about school. But if you want to avoid school kids, consider going during school days and hours.
The scrubs are from 9am to 6pm-ish. Not sure about the massages.
No clue
Whole facility is 24 hours
Yes, they were! Christmas as well.
You can buy discounted ticket on Groupon or at a customer service desk in H-Mart next door (if you spend $50+ on groceries there). Cafeteria inside closes early, plan accordingly. Citron honey hot tea is highly recommended at the juice bar. Have fun.
$40 dollars for entry fee. Gives you access to all the rooms and bath
They give you comfy pjs to wear when you arrive. You wear these everywhere except in the single sex hot tubs, pools and steamrooms. No swimsuits allowed.
Yes
Any age only if they have an adult of same gender. Example: a mother can't take any son under 16 years of age by herself because the son will need to go inside on his own and Spa world does not allow that if under 16.
Check Groupon and Living Social for specials. I typically pay $25 or $40 if I select a treatment. I have never paid full price and do not recommend anyone do so because they always have a deal on some site.
I don't think there is an age limit. But it is a spa so and unless the kids are WELL behaved it is problem not the best place for them. People go there to relax and often kids can be stressful in an environment like that.
Towels are definitely made available. It is of medium size. When you get to the lobby, you sign in and pay your price. You are given a key where you will lock your shoes and a golden kakhi uniform to wear when you get to your section depending on your sexes. That same numbered key opens your locker in your section where you can change and get naked to the pool or put on your uniform and go to the main area. lock your personal stuff in the locker. After that, lock your locker and put the key on your rest.
Let me put this way. Without resent or any harm feelings. They just love white people. Everyone else is not relevant so they will treat you different. Like i said before, they just want your money. Been there at least 12 times. Then i just gave up.
