Beautiful, quiet, and a great place to take the dog

Was nobody there mid August, middle of a Sunday. nice views, some flowers left with scattered butterflies (probably looks better in spring). Nice parking space, good spots for birding- found a rt hawk, gb heron, kingfisher and others. Lake has lots of lilies which were in bloom. Also had fish, a variety of frogs, dragonflies, and deer nearby after wandering off the main trail and getting a little lost in the woods.

Really nice place. More of a gentle walk then a hike.
