It's not the most scenic walk but the path is wide and though not paved, mostly crunchy crushed shells under foot. The length was just about right and good views at the top of the hill. Best part are the goats at the bottom of the hill. Good, available bathrooms which you don't see that often on trails

Nice scenic trail. Approx a little over 2 miles. Some spots are ahady

Great place to walk or run!

Haven't seen anyone other than the park employees on them.
Near entrance
A Service K-9 has Federal Jurisdiction, so yes. Unfortunately however, No according to prior posts for The "Family Pet Dog". Sad... some people only have their four-legged friends/family members as their sole source of companionship & the BEST TLC! Way better than humans any day!
You can ride a bike to get there and there's a bicycle rack but no bikes on the trail
Yes, there are restrooms to the left of the main entrance by the goats and then again by the pier.
It all depends which path is taken. There are 3 -4 different routes, the longest being about 2 - 2.7 miles in total. Then if you go around multiple times, it's exponential. Hope this helps.
I have been to this park several times and there was no request to see a permit.
Only if your stroller has rubber wheels... something that can move over uneven ground or sometimes loose gravel
Unfortunately dogs aren't allowed in the Park

There are several paved "stairs " used as shortcuts through the trails.
Not sure Id reach out to the park preserve directly
It's not a dumb question. The entrance is NOT obvious. But Angela's directions are good. :)
I don't know for sure but the winding trail to the top point is challenging for sure. I would say about 2 miles mostly uphill. It does have stairs to come down if it gets too much, but if you walk down it is a work out and a half. Not to mention beautiful views and sights.
It's a trail behind/within the dump site

I would call the office at the park. They would have the information you are seeking.
