Knowledgeable staff and beautiful grounds! I love that it is connected to The Children's museum. It is a gem of the area. Great hiking trails with nature signs to teach your child while moving your body

Great place, we brought a baby bird and Liam was excellent, he couldn't have been more helpful.

Questions & Answers

What do we do? We have a small baby bird with a broken wing we found in our yard. My son brought it in, I don't know what to do for it.

Why don't you handover to the Roaring brook Nature center team. They should be able to take care of the little bird.

When my family visited the inside exhibits we were greeted at the start and prompted to pay. It certainly seemed to be an entry fee which was mandated and not optional. So from my perspective it was not a suggested donation but rather an entry fee. I believe we paid $19 for 2 adults and a child. It was nice and we enjoyed it. There is a COVID-19 waiver to sign. Considering the exhibits and trails this is a great place to visit.

Are dogs on leash allowed to walk the trails and wade in the brook?

Lynde Hassett | Oct 8, 2019
Bryan Adams | Oct 8, 2019

Yes, it is dog friendly. And a lovely place. Even though it's outside, I think it's right to pick up waste to keep the trail clean.

Are the trails accessible when the center is closed?
