When my family visited the inside exhibits we were greeted at the start and prompted to pay. It certainly seemed to be an entry fee which was mandated and not optional. So from my perspective it was not a suggested donation but rather an entry fee. I believe we paid $19 for 2 adults and a child. It was nice and we enjoyed it. There is a COVID-19 waiver to sign. Considering the exhibits and trails this is a great place to visit.

Our trails through Werner Woods are open dawn to dusk and there is no fee to use them, If you would like to donate to the upkeep of the trails and nature center there is a donation box out front. To enter the building and see the animals and exhibits the admission is as follows: Seniors $6, Adults $7, Children (ages 2-12) $5. We are open Friday and Saturday 9am-4pm and Sunday 1pm-4pm.

No fee for the trails & suggested donation for going inside. Still a cheap family friendly activity to do!
