Beautiful park! Cave is interesting to see and only a short walk from the parking area. Everything was well maintained and mowed. Trails are well marked and scenic. Great place for a picnic!

Gorgeous day for a light run. Was able to get 4 miles in creating my own mix of trails.

Randomly went here to camp cause a festival got cancelled (Bonnaroo). Camping was cheap, they have showers, flushable toilets, washer and dryer you have to pay to use. Awesome hiking. We saw a bunch of deer, a salamander, lizards and cool mushrooms. Not too many people camping here so privacy was nice. The stars at night were gorgeous. On the downside, there were a lot of ticks in the more forested areas, so we had to constantly check ourselves. We are all from Chicago area, so we weren't used to hearing wildlife at night, and the Barred Owls were freaking us out at night with their cackling. A lot of hiking is up hill so be warned! The cave was pretty cool, it is fenced so you can't enter. I'd recommend camping here!

Great state park to check out just moments off of I-70. Easy hike to rock shelter type cave and waterfall. Playground, multiple picnic tables and grills, ample parking and well marked trails. Pit toilet restrooms, trashcans and recycling available. Especially nice spot for families with small children as everything is doable within .3 miles.

Yes, there are motels at Montgomery City exit.
It's a ten minute walk maybe. Park in the lot near the cave and follow the path to the cave. Then at the cave clearing go to the right, there is a short easy hike to the waterfall. But it is mostly just a trickle unless it rains.
It's not enterable at all. The hike is less than a mile full ways to it and back. Path is well maintained.
Atv nit allowed here. More if a walking park. And cave to explore. Enjoy the sounds of nature instead of the motor noises
Responses above are right. You may also want to call and/Or check the Missouri State Parks website.
Yes, there is room to park an rv when seeing the cave. There are also rv camping spots as well.
