I travel a lot for work. I've lived in I cities in 4 states in the last 6 years. This is the worst living situation I've ever been in. There is ZERO sound proofing in my apartment. That's no exaggeration. I can hear even a conversational tone from every door and window in the entire place. It's as if they aren't even there. I have had to hear my neighbor's barking dog constantly on the porch for months. The complex won't do anything about it. Even inside with noise cancelling headphones, I can't get any relief. I feel really uncomfortable in my own home. Otherwise, the building is outdated and kinda dingey. They put in relatively new appliances, but the construction is really old with lots of moisture warping, dings, and discoloration to the walls, baseboards, and floors. The HVAC is outdated. It often swings from too hot to too cold. Bugs are constantly a problem. There's a musty smell that I can't seem to get out. There isn't enough parking and my building is on a hill that requires moving furniture, carrying groceries,etc a really long way. This place is way overpriced for what you get. I'm actually choosing to not extend my lucrative work contract in Greensboro to get away from this living situation. The housing market is rough right now, but avoid this place if you can.

Summer Stallings

Me and my mom lived here for three years. Pretty much anytime we wanted to go swimming the last year, the pool would be closed even on holidays. The maintenance men were pretty good dealing with issues. We had a leaky toilet and they fixed it right away. I loved my room was big. The kitchen are so small and the cabinets are terrible, can’t even fit tall cups. The rent kept going up and up each year by the time our time was up, we was ready to get out because they wouldn’t do anything about the roaches. We even had to save a huge cockroach and show them how big it was in the bag for them to do something and they still never did anything. When we moved, it was horrible. We sprayed and left the dead ones. I hope they found all of them! They said we pay for pest control but never had anyone come in our apartment to look at them or spray outside, it’s scam. Idk if they were coming from below us. we have never had a roach problem anywhere we’ve lived. You pay for pool and amenities then they need to upgrade that stuff, their pic of the gym online is fake and not real. The gym-nothing works. There’s never enough parking. Oh and let’s not get started on the trash, people don’t care about how they live? Most times people will leave their trash at the door and not even throw it in and then it would pile up and no one could get to the door to put the trash in! Anyway don’t live in apartments! Also wanna add when our neighbors moved out, they left furniture all around the stair well and no one came to pick it up for weeks! Then they threw their mattresses in the stair well and left them there and we called and complained and they came back and threw them in the yard. I kid you not, I have a video where it stayed there for two to three weeks before maintenance came to pick it up, the grass was dead. This place is supposed to be gated: but when it used to be closed: the codes never worked and you couldn’t get in so they leave them open, honestly they should just take it down. Glad the big bushes were cut by the gate so you can see when you enter.

My husband and I lived at Yester Oaks for three years with our small family. Any issues we had were always addressed promptly and well. The maintenance team and the management in the office are all super friendly! I would definitely, wholeheartedly recommend them!

If I could give this place a zero I would. The office will not do what they are suppose to do. There is a bed bug infestation going on in the apartments. They have lied and said that they have checked all the apartments, but when I asked the neighbors around me they said no one has ever checked their apartment. I called the city of greensboro and they are suppose to spray the entire building especially when there is bed bugs coming from the ceiling. It should not be hard to have them spray the building. It’s disgusting and the landlord needs to take care of it. This has been going on for about a month. Can you imagine looking up and seeing bed bugs crawling from your ceiling. This is unacceptable !!!
